Background: Buying his ship from another captain he did not realize the seller didn't own the ship outright. There was a partner, and he wants to be paid. No excuses. Miles is distantly related to Moff Tarkin having met him once or twice. All Miles has ever wanted to do is travel the galaxy and make an honest living as a trader captain. To this end he feels very strongly about doing the right thing and taking care of his crew. Miles has always been lucky, especially when things look their darkest, seemingly able to finding a way to get things done. He never really was interested in joining the Alliance for the Restoration of the Republic, but he seems to keep getting drawn into running assignments for them.
Personality: Not the smartest nor the most valorous, he does his best. He believes in doing the right thing and taking care of his crew.
Goals: He desperately wants to get out from under the debt he owes.
