Good idea, Raven. I think that would be awesome (if we could even do something, say, annually). _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Any progress on this? I was actually in the area yesterday and today and it got me wondering. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Nothing had been going on here, and I got busy on my end, so I'm thinking anything this Fall is probably out. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

That's a shame. It'd be nice to get something organized this year. |

Has anyone thought of using kickstarter to raise money for a small hotel meeting room to set up a game, event area. I would be interested in setting up something for next con season. I know we would like to showcase our REUP hardcover book, run some games, and have sourcebook writing workshops. The REUP team is planning on moving to a support role, helping interested parties publish profession e sourcebooks/adventures fir d6.
I think location is critical, where is there cheap airfare access (major airline hub cities) cheaper hotel rooms and meeting rooms, and where is there close driving access for those who are roadtripping.
If there is still serious interest in te con/get together idea, i would be happy to work on it.
And mabye we could start a kickstarter |

That's a cool idea. Might even be of benefit to consider several 'hubs'- say, a Rancor Pit East, Rancor Pit West, Rancor Pit South- get-togethers for general regions to minimize the travel-distance/cost and hopefully bring things in a little cheaper... _________________ Star Wars: Marvels, the audio drama: www.nolinecinemas.com

My schedule is erratic at best but I can clear a weekend with enough heads up. Let's see what the interest level is and tentatively plan for a get together in March? If it's just four or five of us I can host a day game in CT. |
