Just got done watching Reindeer games with Gary Sinese and Ben Afleck. That imo could easily be imported into SW.. Well, the casino robbery part.

I think Pulp Fiction would make an interesting comedy-crime campaign
A lot of Guillermo del Toro's movies would make for interesting campaigns in the unknown regions
Police Academy to Stormtrooper or CorSec academy would be interesting

Back in high school, I guest-GM'ed a game for my local group that was based loosely off, of all things, the movie Miss Congeneality. It actually turned out damned funny; the PC's had to infiltrate a beauty contest being sponsored by House Barnaba in order to bug and tail a House Mecetti noble.

In my current campaign, I did a whole Western theme for the first Tapani sector mini-arc. I had shades of The Great Train Robbery, Maverick, and even threw in an open nod to the ending of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly in the form of a three-way Mexican standoff between ISB agents and stormies, the PC's, and a group of Mecrosa Order assassins.

My liberation of Dac mini-arc was based off WWII movies (naturally); specifically, The Guns of Navarone, The Longest Day, Where Eagles Dare and a skosh of U-571. A brief epilogue game that played out later was based off, I suppose, The Dam Busters as it was directly based off Operation Chastise.

I'm going into an arc currently that's based heavily off several pieces of Trek, namely Little Green Men (the DS9 episode), First Contact, and A Taste of Armageddon (the TOS episode).
