Lord Vader, our ships have completed their scan of the area and found nothing. If the Millennium Falcon went into light-speed, it'll be on the other side of the galaxy by now.

This may have been an exaggeration, but the films also show quick travel to many points throughout, such as Rey and Chewie heading to Ahch-to at the end of The Force Awakens. Of course, this could just be moving the plot along quicker.

I was rewatching TESB just the other day and thought about this. It's more circumstantial evidence that hyperdrive technology really can get you from one side of the galaxy to the other in less than a day. It makes sense in-universe, though. Just consider IRL how we can get from one side of the world to the other today in less than a day. Only a century ago, that would have been considered fantastical.

Does anyone have a copy of this galaxy map?

Every link I've clicked on in here is dead.

Raven, you're in luck, I have a copy of this very map and I've been sitting on it for almost two years. Here's hoping you can do something with this, since Meriba has been AWOL from this forum for a good long while. I also have my own docfile corrections/additions to update it with the planets from Rogue One. I'd update the map myself except I don't have the skills nor the tools to do so. Sad

This is probably the most detailed map of the Star Wars Galaxy in existence; my only gripe with it is that Galactic North-to-South is oriented horizontally, not vertically, but I suspect Meriba oriented the map that way for easier printing.

My corrections also have individual links to the starwars.com article for each of the RO planets' locations. The link for the main article is here.

I have this in my Google Docs, which is in my siggy ink. Here's the direct link to the map: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0By9UuUWWH6CiYVpwZTZJcGQxR0E

Here's the link to my Rogue One planet map corrections: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tgDXQd9G9wOstBrlRP28fSG4dOcFEzTc

Let me know if those links work (they worked for me, so they should work for you). And feel free to explore my signature link for all the other RPG goodies I have, Star Wars and otherwise. That goes for the lot of you all on this forum, not just Raven. Smile Laughing

EDIT: Just so you all know, this is a link to Meriba's map, not the original poster Anguifed.

You're a champ Sutehp! I was hoping for something for a free-reigning SpecOps team, but I lost the old Galaxy Map I used to have. So, as such I came here looking for something new to use. I saw a lot of great feedback for this, but all the links were dead.

Glass of Corellian Brandy for you, my friend!

You bring the Corellian Brandy, I'll bring the Klingon bloodwine. The 2309 vintage, of course. Smile

As for updating the map, I'm wondering if anyone on this forum is willing to do so. Or at least tell me which tools I might need and how to use them....But that's a last resort. I'm rubbish when it comes to anything more complicated than Microsoft Word. Razz Embarassed

Welcome back, Meriba! I downloaded it and tried a couple different programs, but I do not seem to be able to access the layers. Do you recommend any programs to view it? I have a mac in case that is the problem.

I'm don't even see that Adobe Acrobat is an option for me to buy, and when I search for "Acrobat Reader" in the app store I'm still not getting Acrobat as an option, but I'm getting several free options and some expensive options. The free options I've tried are not seeing the layers either. I tried but I'm sorry I don't be able to give much feedback on this. Hopefully someone else will. Thanks for sharing it here.

I'm taking my first look at this and it seems the layers Meriba is referring to are individual sector maps superimposed on the galaxy map. They're immensely tiny when compared to the overall map, of course, but that's to be expected. And the good news is, you can zoom in on them and they're instantly recognizable. I already made out The Expanse of Tapani sector as well as the Hapes cluster and the Moddell Sector (where Endor is).

I'm just wondering if Exegol (or however it's spelled) is on here.

But yeah, this map looks exceptional.

As before, my only gripe is that it's oriented with Galactic North to the left instead of the top of the page.

That map is amazing! Great job!
You can search for planets directly (and no exegol is not in there yet). I've been looking for a nice map to edit out all new canon planets for personal use (I play using now-legends only content) this seems like a nice one. There's all sectors and all, really fantastic!

Yeah, this link is dead. Good news is, I uploaded it to my Google Docs page here.

You can also find a bunch of other Star Wars maps here.

I hope you find these useful! Cool
