Lets say for some reason a ship from star wars crashed on earth relatively intact.

How long do YOU think it would take for us to reverse engineer the technology from it, assuming its even possible.
How long after that, before we generate our own hyperspace capable starships?

Where does it crash and who gets it? Are we talking a single vessel, like a Roswell-style crash, or are we talking a huge vessel, like Macross/Robotech?

Are there any survivors, either humanoid or droid?

Where, we'll say either Australia, or Europe. Neither the US or China gets it..

Survivors; living - none. droid - we'll say none were salvagable intact.
