And, as another SW movie confirms it:

A mortally wounded character may be conscious.

What do you mean? In which two movies have mortally wounded characters been conscious? Luke seemed conscious in a bacta tank, but i wouldn't call THAT him being mortally wounded.. Or are you on about Anakin after Obi-wan sliced him up on Mustafar.

I think he means ankain on mustafar and even later on the death star.

Well, we know a MW character who's a strong force user can do so, courtesy of the remain conscious and control pain force powers...
I thought he was on about someone else, who was NOT a force user, doing so.

If you want a more realistic game system that has many more wound status than what's in the game, you are free to overhaul it and introduce that level of crunch. If you want, add "mortally wounded but conscious" and "mortally wounded and unconscious" to your damage charts.

No need to complicate things. Simple test of stamina/willpower should do. Automatic success if FP/CHPs are used - dead won't need them anyway.

Qui Gon Jinn is on this list too. Cool

Well, one might be able to stretch it that Cassian Andor may have been in the "mortally wounded" category in Rogue One. He was shot, fairly significantly, and fell a fair distance, so he was not in good shape. But he managed to climb out and snoot a villain, but he didn't have much strength left for anything else.

Now whether that was mortally wounded, or just "incapacitated" is kind of vague, but it's still a significantly wounded character still acting and aware.

Good point. Though he could have been wounded by the shot and wounded a 2nd time by the fall..

One thing the movies have changes is the opening crawls, this seems to be "physical" in the star wars universe.

If we read the crawls from the prequels and the original trilogy we begin to understand how and why Snoke understood and knew what he knew.

He spoke of Vader, of the Empire's fall, but he was not more specific than what he would have gathered from reading the crawls as they passed his planet or space ship.

We also see the texts actually disappear into space, and now the mystery has been answered, the crawl was floating through the unknown regions.

it also explains why it took snoke 30 years to strike

Weapon damage setting (low, normal, high) – we see it in movies, mentioned few times.

Normal damage – as we see it most of the time.

Low damage:
1) Poe on Takodana (FA) – sets lower fire power to take out troopers just next to Finn and Solo.
2) Anakin in Naboo hangar and on Trade Federation ship shooting droids.
3) First Death Star could fire on lower power settings as indicated in Rogue 1. So the info given on page 47 in Movie Trilogy Sourcebook is no longer valid.
4) Death Star 2 vs Rebels.

Maximum damage
1) Veers: “Target, maximum firepower!” (TESB) – rules interpretation? Combined fire of all cannons on target? Or main cannons boosted somehow (trade rate of fire for damage)? Character points? Preparing/ targeting rules (+1D for each round up to +3D)?

Maybe that was a mix of Combined fire, AND boosting their damage via shuting power from elsewhere.. Say fire control or shields..
