If you truly cannot discern the intended meaning of someone's statement then of course you can politely ask for clarification, but if you do understand what they mean, then please just let it go. I will however correct spelling and/or clarify thread titles as needed. If you would like to point out that another user's thread title is spelled incorrectly then please PM me, not them. Please do not post a reply in the thread pointing out the typo/error. (If I spell words wrong in my own thread titles, feel free to PM me.)

So you do know what he meant then. As a friendly reminder, we don't post to point out spelling errors here. Thanks.

We don't? Well, there goes half my fun posting here... Wink

Sorry, we have a whole guideline against it. It's there for me just as much any anyone else, for both mispelling forgiveness and me not correcting other's spelling. I have a touch of dislexia and clumsy fingers leading to typos, but yet I feel a (hypocritical) urge to correct others and have to resist it myself.

I'm trying to imagine Agent Kallus from Rebels saying "Imperial Spelling Bee" with a straight face. I'm only partially succeeding. Shocked

It is, however, quite easy to picture some officious prig of an Imperial bureaucrat pontificating on proper grammar being essential to the preservation of the New Order. Likely not at Kallus' level of ruthlessness, but I'm sure we've all encountered enough petty, self-important public servants to be able to draw a mental image.

Duly noted. Good to know that I'm not the only one who has those same urges and likewise needs to squelch them. Embarassed
