I guess you're talking about the SFS Lone Scout-A, right? I've seen several different takes on that ship. It's not a starfighter; in R&E it is in the Transports section.

Yeah I originally posted in the wrong section as it isn't a starfighter but its new (2nd hand but new for my character) ans I'm having it heavily modified so it needs lots of time in the bay and has actually done very little flying.

Finally my GM has tramp freigters so I can modify stuff correctly... on a minus side the critical tables are all there too.

Yeah I'm with the larger boxish version but I want to know why a scout ship doesn't have very good sensors

Eh Es. It's a Military Scout made by the lowest bidder. Laughing

And it's sensors are decent. Not great, but decent at least. It's no Skyblind, but it's better than a stock Tie Fighter or a YT-1300.

And I personally like the Critical Hit tables. Despite the situations I find myself in.

Ok, that's two votes for the larger boxish version. Is the elevated part behind the cockpit circular or rectangular? I've seen both. Whaddya think?

As far as the not so great sensors, it says in R&E that the "...ship is designed for a crew of one (hence its somewhat low performance values)."

I'd say a rounded rectangle. Oval-Like sort of thing.

And that makes as much sense as any for the "Low Performance Values".

Did anyone end up modifying the Tramp Freighters rules for use with starfighters and/or repulsorlift craft?

Most gms i know of, use the same rules for freighter modification for starfighters, but limit each fighter to a set number. EG they would give each fighter a 'tonage' allowance for mods. Like a Y wing would have 7, Xwing would have 5, Bwing would have 9, A wing would only have 3....
