Yesterday evening i had my first serious adventure with my friends (in the sense that they were more than two at a time).
I begun to run the adventure from the GM Handbook, titled "Tales from the Smoking Blaster", since it's an adventure thought for indipendent characters, during wich i inserted some elements to build up a network of connections between the players and some Rebel undercover operatives to pop up at later stages (one is an Ithorian called Kirill, the other is a Wookie called Furr).

At the moment they have reached a stand-by point, having just accepted the job offer from Fek'ra, to get rid of the bounty put over them by Yosger and save their skins (plus exstinguishing a huge debt they have with Yosger).

Everithing went quite smooth and it has been very useful to me to begin focusing over space combat and man to man combat mechanics. I must say they have shown an istinctive skill in dealing with space operatins and combat, while they maybe had some more difficulties with ranged and melee combat, but this can be obviously my fault.

BTW: Gry did you included the Loronar Medium Transport in your Starships and Vechiles Guide? I could not find it, but i must admit i didn't search it for more than 5 mins (my players were growing impatient to begin... Smile

The Loronar is in the Starships Book, page 108.

Gotta go and look at it: my five minutes weren't clearly enough!

(and gotta stop nitpicking Gry's works: it's evident they cannot be nitpicked... Smile )

"Frequently and often"? Isn't that a very redundant comment?

Oh, sorry, I'm just nitpicking.... Wink

Why yes, yes it is a redundant comment. Redundancy is often used for emphasis, as was done in my statement above.

BTW, how's that revised Ships file coming along? Wink

Unfortunatelly, still stalled. First because Grimace has not yet sent me the remaining Adventure Journal stats, and second because of the art embargo...

Yeah, it's really killin' me that I don't have the time (let alone the software) to do some good artwork for ya, Gry. Otherwise I'd say screw these sourfaced bozos and get this show on the road. Mad
