That's cool. A Mark 1 camo clone trooper. The Mark 1s don't get much love after the sheer coolness of the Mark 2s, so it's nice to see someone doing something with it.
And this reminds me to post another character I did. A cobbling together of different Mark 2 armor with a paint job and a poncho thrown in for a special character:

Gotta show some love to the Genetic Infantrymen.
I'll get some scans of PC portraits up as soon as I can.
For now, there's this:

Very nice pic there. I do like the Proto-Falcon design!!
The portrait is a collage of different pieces. The body is Wes Janson from The Rogue Squadron Comics. The head is from the Star Trek Elite Forces Video Game concept art.
I did a few basic mods, changed the weapon, Made the head bald, and added the facial hair.
I had a friend who's alot better at Photoshop then I am add the corridor. He fixed a few things and did the coloring.
Definately a great job! Thank you. _________________ http://www.boomspeed.com/reaperden/ErcID.jpg |

Nice size too! |
Yeah, that one's from a few years ago and was inspired by the concept art from the first Star Wars sketchbook.
Alas and alack, I am having issues with my scanner. Seems there's a program conflict between it and my DSL modem (both use USB ports). It may be a few days before I can scan in those character portraits.
But, if'n ye need a Jedi, Anastas the Traveler can be used in a pinch.

I think i asked you before, but i have forgotten the answer Gry..
What do you use to color it in - and i am assuming you just color in a wire frame that someone else creates. _________________ The Vong have Arrived

Yes, that's it. I take the pen drawing made by my friend and scan it into the computer. Using Photoshop I select each section of the drawing and fill it with the desired color in a new layer (in Multiply blending mode, so the drawing lines will show through). I add a Gradient Overlay to that layer to get some lighting effect. That's pretty much it. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |
