Their parents killed during the rise of the Empire, the Kast brothers were forced to make a living for themselves. They tought themselves many survival skills, many of them from experience. After the discovery of a run down Imperial Theta Class Shuttle, a relic of the Clone Wars, they repaired it and, dubbing it the Iron Kast, opened a business doing oddjobs for the highest payers.

Background: Many years ago, in the days of the old republic, a young Jedi Knight felt the presence of a dark influence among the councel members. He belived the Jedi were corrupted by some form of dark presence. None of the masters belived him, and he resigned from the Order. The Jedi Knights tried to convince him he was wrong, but he wouldn't be swayed, he knew he was right, he knew the future of the Order. He picked up civilian life as a free trader, where he fell in with a rough crowd, using the force to help the crew stay alive and get the captain to do the right thing. But during some down time on Onderon, he met, and fell in love with, a noblewoman. He left the band of traders and married the woman. Three years later, she had her only child, Mara. Three years later, a plauge hit Onderon, in which Mara's mother died. To escape the plauge, Mara's father took her off planet, where he resumed life as a trader/smuggler. As Mara grew up, He taught her the ways of a true Jedi, and how to build a Lightsaber and use it. It was then he realized, Mara could not feel the force. However, this did not stop him from teaching her right from wrong, but he decided to allow her more independance, freedom, and individuality then the order would have allowed. At age 17, He and Mara parted ways. He left her on the planet Bespin with her new ship, a YT-1300 Transport. He wished her best of luck, leaving her with these word... "The dark side is in all, in everything. It is up to you to find how to surpress it, how to resist it, how to defeat it." He handed her a yellow bladed lightsaber, and faded into the crowd. For the last three years, she has been supporting herself as a Free Trader, aboard her ship, the the "Red Eagle".

Connection with other characters: Mara has joined the Iron Kast's crew as main pilot. She dislikes the astromech droid, P1-G7, and is cautious around the wookie (fear of dismemberment).

Personality: Mara is head strong, confident, and a bit brash (though she know's when something's going south-up). She is always trying to do good, but usually messes that up and stays in the grey area. Mara will usually react with extreme rage when she's made fun of.

He joined the imperial stormtrooper regiment at an early age, and was noted to have a nack for marksmaship. After they put him through some shiper tests, they found he had extrodanary talent with a sniper rifle. he was placed in a Special forces unit, and quickly became the leader of the group. he never failed his mission objectives, or lost a man. then the empire gave him a mission, one that had a 0% of survival, and would kill the population of an enitre populated planet. he, and his unit could not do this task, so they staged an explosion at the mission objective, made it look like something when wrong, and that his entire unit was KIA. after escaping the planet, he and his unit split up to increase thier chances of survival. this even took place just over a month ago.

The horny black keratin scales covering his hulking body, red glowing eyes, and rows needle-like teeth are generally the only physical attributes his prey are ever able to discern before they fly into panic – but, the scary truth be told, that nightmarish facade is all there really is…

Brakk’s was not born on Barab I like most Barabels. His father had left home in search of bigger game and had become an enforcer for an underworld crime lord. As such Brakk grew up with no love for the Empire but an amused respect for the Rebellion in their hunt against a more powerful prey. But even though Brakk grew up around the criminal and questionable elements of the galaxy, he never really felt completely at home there. His father had taught him the honor of the hunt and respect for the prey, something the underworld scum rarely understood. Every year from the very first year of his birth, Brakk’s father sent him home to Barab I where his grandfather father taught him the traditions of the hunt and the warlike nature of his people in their native environment. Brakk excelled so much at traditional hunting and warfare that in his seventeenth year his grandfather warned him not to return to Barab I because the local warlords were both nervous and jealous of his skill.

From there Brakk branched out into doing work for his father and developed the skills of an intergalactic solider and bounty hunter. But after only a few years of working for his father he felt he had greater hunts in him, greater prey to conquer, so he bid his father farewell and wandered out into the galaxy. Even though Brakk has only completed three independent bounties (a Coynite, a Wookie, and a renegade Human mercenary), he has already begun to get a name for himself in some circles. This is partially due to the fact that he has requested to keep items that belonged to his prey as partial payment, and because he prefers death bounties, or at least ones with substantial lethal danger. He believes the old tradition of the hunt that says that it is only when one is faced with the ultimate punishment that one can transcend their mediocrity and become something better.

Personality: The consummate hunter and solider, Brakk is patient, methodical, and fiendishly clever. With friends or comrades-in-arms Brakk is amiable, honorable, and trustworthy - though constantly badgering - while all others receive calculated doses of ferocious intimidation and icy reproach – such are the mental games of the hunter.

Objectives: To keep pursuing the perfect prey.

Personality: He is extremely possessive of the Iron Kast and doesn't like others fiddling with the controls. He considers it as part of himself, and that he is the best pilot for the ship. Actually hates going into combat, but will do so as he owes the Kast brothers from saving him from the scrap heap

Connections to other Characters: Mara; Silly human who thinks that she actually pilots the Iron Kast. Soniv; Silly human that thinks that he'll be repairing the Iron Kast. Vox; Silly Anomid, although he lets me do what I want. Rahullu; Not so Silly Wookie, good for moving crates around and keeping unwelcomed guests out of the Iron Kast. Karlys: Don't know about this one yet, seems to like laying around doing nothing. Brakk; Another not much is known about, looks like he can give the Wookie a hand. Knowl; Just seems to be extra weight.

Appearance: P1-7G looks like an R2 unit, as do the majority of his model. His colourings are white and Grey, as they were when he was imperial property.

History: P1 was a proto-type for the Imperial navy. He was originally built to fly combat missions, but as with the rest of his model, this turned out to be a dismal failure. P1 was later assigned to a Theta class shuttle and was promptly forgotten. He was used to take troops down to planets on shore leave, and soon those trips were few and far between. When he was assigned to the Death Star project he finally got to do more flying, even if it was to transport Wookie slaves, and technical parts.

He was later assigned to the technical crew for the Death Star, where he was slowly modified to appear more Astromech like, and he picked up his repair and computing skills.

When the Death Star came under attack, P1 figured out the weak spot that the rebels were aiming for, but no one would listen to a droid. So he climbed aboard his shuttle and took off away from Yavin IV. Just has he jumped, the Death Star exploded. He jumped from system to system, slowly modifying the Theta as he went. Soon the shuttle couldn't even be flown without him atleast being jacked in. His ship was finally confiscated and sold (it had no legal owner), and this is where he met Dendo and Sarm Kast. They were good enough to take P1 along with the ship, otherwise they would have had to do some majour overhauls on the ships systems. The one thing they did have to do some work on was the life support, as P1 had totally negelected that function, and to date it still plays up.

Born on kashynk as the youngest of several siblings Rahullu was not your typical wookie, he had none of his spieces intresst in things mechanical, instead he wanderd the jungle and threes of Kashynk learning to fight and an survive something that often worried his mother Bracca, while his father Drowwon thought i would make him into a capable wookie and encouraged him. When he grew up he was one of the strongest wookies in his village, he would proably had no problem finding a mate. But he was taken as a slave in young years around 40 or so along with his brother Growwarha and sister Yllahnia. The sibling were taken by a Tadoshan rading party, but fought hard and killed sveral of their attackers, before being brought down by traqulizers. That caused Bracca to go into her rage and kill several of the tadoshans, so she was killed by a thermenal detonator. Rahullus father way away at the time and Rahullu has no idea if he is alive or dead. The siblings were separated and Rahullu was forced into heavy labour on a mining camp on a jungle planet. When the camp was attacked by rebel x-wings and ground troops a few years later he was freed he then considered himself to have a life debt to the rebels that saved him and joined them as a wilderness trooper, once all of them had died. He resigned and sought a more profitable occupation as well as to start searching for his lost family. But has since then found out that a lone wookie in the galaxy is a wanted by a the empire, after narrowingly escaping their clutches a few times he decided to rejoin the rebellinon along with team Kast to try to overthrow the empire or die trying. He is strong even for a wookie, something that sometimes causes trouble. Both for machines and the living.

Rahullu is a kind soul, but having lived as a slave he ha´s hidden that side. He mostly acts for the good of others but , he can be very nasty when he feels like it. Specially if pepole dont respect him. When he falls into the wookie rage he is like all wookies, not a very nice fellow. But unless someone threatens him, Rahullu usually give pepole a second try befire he rips their arms out. Rahullu respect most races and pepole unless they have slaves or are slavers. Such pepole will be ripped apart unless it would cause to much trouble for him.

Relations with others.

First in Rahullus mind bothersome pest. But since he got to spend a little time around her, he has come to care for her. he still dont get her thou.

Sgt Knowl
A military man like himself, and a crack shoot. Rahullu respects him for that.

Not sure about this one, in the beging Rahullu wanted to tear him appart but now, he has begun to grudingly respect the Barbel. The fight well tougather.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Vox Tenzil is a tall, lean-muscled Anomid male. Like all Anomids he was born without vocal cords and wears a vocalizer face mask that covers his nose and mouth. Vox usually wears a hooded cloak or robe at all times (despite the ruddy skin tone common among the nonconformists—a small but growing percentage of the Anomid population that eschews the heavy, concealing clothing most Anomids wear), and has a wide assortment of clothing—quite normal for one of the wealthy members of his species. Vox has long, black wispy hair surrounding the bald crown of his head, large silvery eyes, and hand-sized, leaf-like ears pressed back along the sides of his head.

Ambidextrous: Vox is equally comfortable using either hand, suffering no off-hand penalties.

Technical Aptitude: Anomids have a natural aptitude for repairing and maintaining technological items. At the time of character creation only, Anomid characters get 6D bonus skill dice (in addition to the normal 7D skill dice). These bonus dice can be applied to any Technical skill, and Anomid characters can place up to 3D in any beginning Technical skill. These bonus skill dice can be applied to non-Technical skills, but at half value (i.e., it requires 2D to advance a non-Technical skill 1D).

Languages: Time to use: One round. This skill specialization is used to understand and “speak” the unique Anomid form of sign language. Only Anomids and other beings with six digits per hand can learn to “speak” this language. The skill costs the normal amount for specializations, but all characters trying to interpret Anomid sign language without the specialization have their difficulty increased by two levels because of the complexity and intricacy of the language.

Wealthy: Anomids have one of the richer societies in the Empire. Beginning characters should be granted a bonus of at least 2,000 credits.

Pacifists: Anomids tend to be pacifistic, urging conversation and understanding over conflict.

BACKGROUND: Vox Tenzil is not the average Anomid, though one wouldn’t know it right away when meeting him. He sometimes wears flashy clothing, denoting his wealth, and will often engage fellow travelers in conversation about their journeys, as is typical of his species. He is an accomplished slicer, which also lines up with the Anomid tendency toward high technical aptitude. However, what lies beneath is where he diverges from the norm.

Vox Tenzil possesses some well-developed skills in the combat arts, which goes quite against the grain of normal Anomid philosophy of pacifism. There is a good reason Vox has honed these abilities, despite what his ancestors have taught for millennia.

Vox Tenzil is a Jedi.

A Jedi Padawan, to be more precise. A leftover from days gone by, when Jedi roamed freely, dispensing justice and freedom throughout the galaxy. And for a long time now, a loner. Having been taught in secret, constantly on the move, Vox’s master was caught by a squadron of stormtroopers in the upper-middle levels of Coruscant during one of his rare forays to the Imperial stronghold. He’d been teaching young Vox about moving without causing ripples in the Force, and had actually been succeeding—as evidenced by the distinct lack of Sith Lords or Grand Inquisitors in their general vicinity. Master L’nn had even been moving about without his lightsaber, showing off a bit for his pupil, who’d not been confident enough in his own abilities to forego carrying his own weapon, albeit concealed. Master L’nn and Vox came across a pair of vagabonds who were being abused by the Empire’s Finest, and the Jedi Master had been unable to let the trespass go unanswered. He waded in among the sea of white armor and eventually gave his life defending the defenseless; a blaster bolt to the back of the head sealed L’nn’s fate. Horrified, Vox faded into the background and fled back to their ship.

Ransacking the vessel, Vox gathered everything of value that he could carry in a rucksack and spacer’s chest, including Master L’nn’s training materials and lightsaber, and sold their small scout ship to the first buyer he could find after completely wiping the ship’s computer of any trace of their existence. He then made his way to the lower levels, looking for a way to get off-planet without drawing Imperial attention. Once away, he decided to find some way to practically aid the Rebellion in bringing down the Empire.

Although his family is one of the wealthier and more respected on Yablari, having been involved in spacefaring technology for centuries, Vox is somewhat aloof from them, both due to his nonconformist tendencies and his status as a Jedi. While he still maintains favorable relations with them, he does so fairly infrequently as he hopes to further distance them from the danger his being a Jedi could place them in.

Form I (Shii-Cho)
This form is the most basic form of lightsaber combat. Its first moves are not so much intended for
combat but more to learn body control. Later teachings provide the student with rudimentary fighting
moves, while training and especially mastery in that basic form can prove to be very powerful in duels.

Requirements: none

Action: Heavy Strike Difficulty: +5 Effect:A two-handed strike that hits the opponent hard, and therefore deals +1D damage.
Action:Swing Attack Difficulty:+1 Effect:The Jedi moves the blade in a wide circle and is able to strike two opponents at once without penalty. However the opponents have to be within 180 degree in front of the striking character and only receive –1D damage, since the hit is fast and slighter than when hit directly. Additionally the character receives –2D to parry or dodge rolls towards these two opponents, since the move makes the combatant open to attacks.
Action:Quick Parry Difficulty:+10 Effect:The fighter parries an incoming attack and moves in a way that blocks the enemy’s movement. The two characters have to make an opposing dexterity roll or the attacker falls to the ground.

Form X (Jar'Kai)
Form X teaches the art of using two lightsabers in combat. While many Jedi learn the basics of that
form, only few ever master it. Form X has one primary weapon used solely for attack, while the second
blade can be used for defense or offense. Due to extensive training, the Jedi is used to using two
weapons at once, therefore the penalty for using an additional weapon is reduced to –2, instead of
-1D. However off-hand penalties still apply where necessary. Some species have more than two
hands or comparable limbs. In that case the –2 modifier applies to all limbs carrying a lightsaber. This
modifier counts only for Form X maneuvers. If the Jedi wants to use another form with two blades, the
standard –1D penalty applies.

Requirements: Dexterity 3D

Action:Blade Shield Difficulty: +5 Effect:The Jedi circles both blades in front of him, spinning them and by that creating a shield in front of him. This gives him a +2D bonus to any parry rolls. However this has to be the only action of the Jedi in that round besides basic movement.
Action:Double Sweep Difficulty:+15 Effect: The Jedi grabs both sabers upside-down and moves both hands from an outward position and back again. Any opponent within that 180 degree angle is hit twice. However the quickness reduces the damage by –1D-1.

Background: When she was a child she was shy and mostly kept to her self. Most people therefore talked over her head, not noticing the small quiet child.
She therefore most of her time turned in to herself living in a fantasy world. She could sit in hours at night looking at the stars and imagine the different kind of miracles that could take place out there.
As she grew up she slowly started to gain confident in her self. She started to notice that men looked at her differently and that other women looked at her with envy. As she was both beautiful and smart she understood that she hade a weapon that many others lacked, and that she hade to learn how to use it.
When she came to the age to start university, she signed in fore business class, she worked hard to get good grades but mostly she worked to bring out her other talents. She built up a big social life. Carefully she tried her wings by playing with different men, learning how to manipulate them in to giving her everything she needed. Other women she mostly saw as something she needed to learn to live with, but she knew she needed their social experience, so she hade lot of female friends that she studied to learn most she could on how to behave and what thing you absolutely should avoid.

After finishing school she got a great chance when a big businessman offered a job as his assistance. He was VD of a company that specialized in hostile takeovers. She did most of the preparations of the deals he wanted, and she also finished the details when he hade sign the deals. Under two years she spend most of her time in space transports between different planets.
One trip they got borded by space pirates, she snuck on an escape pod and got away. The she drifted in space for so long she thought she would die. Then a rebel ship picked her up and brought her to their next stop.

Born in the Zanlaus Planetary Confederation, outside the boundries of the Empire and the Known Galaxy, on a planet known as Junkopolis, a world that serves as one humongous scrapyard, a young Timms ("Red" to his friends) Griff grew up with a fascination scouting and with rebuilding the junked droids and starships that the squibs (the only known people in the Empire who knew about his people and their area of space) dropped off there. By age 17, when he underwent military testing, he had reconconstructed an ancient Corellian Barloz Medium Freighter out of scrap, it had different, but equivelent to stock form, hyperdrive and backup, and sublight engines, but was otherwise thoroughly restored: the only other modifications he had preformed were greatly extending it's range (about 1 standard year), and fitting a piggy-back system for carrying one smaller ship or fighter on it's back (up to 30m long and 20m wide in size) through hyperspace and a, retractable, turret mounted tractor beam (up topside). After his military service testing (showing his aptitude for scouting), he was assigned to the Confedration Scout and Survey Corps for his required, uneventful but interesting, 2 year tour of duty there. After discharge, he returned home to collect his beloved ship and enter the independant scouting and salvage businesses. While exploring, he had a navigational system malfuction that dropped him in a unfamiliar system well outside the Zanlaus Planetary Confederation, and with a fried Nav Computer and complete loss of all his hyperspace charts (this star system was Ord Mantell). Timms managed to land and soon eventually wound up hunting through the Ord Mantell junkyard for a replacement. A few misadventures afterward, and having no way home, Timms bartered for some charts (and earned some money for all those darned BOSS permits his ship required in the Empire too) and set out to explore the Known Galaxy and generally have fun. He hopes to hook up with some squibs who can give him directions home one day though.....

Explore the Galaxy, have fun (and meet atractive women) while doing it, and one day get back home.

Friendly, kind, never seems to be uncheerful or not smiling (The one exeption is around the subject of slavey: he HATES it with a PASSION), and enjoys tinkering with machines, and loves atractive women (though he is very respectful to them: he isn't a cadd or womanizer).

History: I got seperated from my people on a trading mission to one of the smaller cities and found myself "salvaging" some stuff of a space transport when it decided to leave planet. Well I haven't looke dback since. The crew refrained from dropping me from the from the airlock when I managed to save them when their hyperdrive failled at a very inoppurtune moment. Since then I have been modifying the ship extensively and thereby created job security as their not a lot of people who can keep the ship running anymore. I have pushed it too its limits and removed a few of the fail safes. But who needs them when they have me.

Objectives: To see as much of the galaxy as possible, while trying to salvage all the junk possible and trying to seel as much to strange species as possible.

Physical Description:
She's as cute as a bug, as short as a minute, not even standing four and a half feet in heels, and nowhere near a hundred pounds, even soaking wet. Her hair is a collection of spiraling ringlets the color of dark honey with light shining through it. They fall down past her shoulders from a central part, bouncing when she walks or in the breeze, all except for the bangs which were once cut at a perfect level above her eyebrows and have now grown too long, falling in her eyes sometimes. Those eyes are a clear, crystalline blue, the color of the Mediterranean, or a cloudless sky over the desert. They're big and wide, surrounded usually by black eyeliner, and a pair of purple wireframe glasses with oblong lenses. Her skin is all peaches-and-cream, dusted across her nose and cheeks with a scattering of freckles. That nose is small and pert, upturned, and the cheeks are still softly rounded with what little remains of her baby fat. Her mouth is a smiling red bow, lips sparkling with some sort of glittery lip balm.
Around her slender neck is a slim beaded choker, all in reds and yellows and greens, with a pendant shaped like a dragon hanging from it, splaying dully against the hollow of her throat. She wears a worn shipsuit which fits snugly to the curves beneath it. Across it are a scattering of faded aurbesh letters which are pushed toward observing eyes as they are by her generous breasts.
A canvas belt, its buckle just a pair of D-rings, is cinched around her narrow waist which looks like any pair of reasonably large hands could completely encompass. The pants of the shipsuit are baggy beneath the belt, of course, but not enough to hide the generous swell of her hips and the rounded bubble of her @$$, which prevent her from looking topheavy. The pants are busy with pockets at her hips and down her thighs, some bulging with items, others empty. On her left wrist is a thick black leather band, while on her right is a profusion of slim beaded bracelets. For shoes, it's a simple pair of boots, which also have seen better days, their sides tall, and with ample tread, but they're still covered down to the heel and over half the laces by the shipsuit.

Character History
Bria was raised as the daughter of a spacer. Delivering Cargo, taking passengers, hell, even a little smuggling, was normal while she was growing up.
It was only when she showed an aptitude for games of chance, especially card games, that she became able to add some income to her father's.
While able to play the games, it wasn't her skill that helped her beat spacers young and old, time after time, but her uncanny ability to be able to read what cards they held. Her father was a little curious about that, but put it down to her reading some body language, that he couldn't.
Soon, people start to recognise her face, and wouldn't join in the games where she sat, so her father and her moved on. They had no ties other than each other, and there would always be new games, and new pots to be won.
Using all the savings they managed to scrape together, Bria joined her first high stakes game. While no starships or buildings were laid in the pot, the credits flowed freely, and she managed to win, in one game, enough for them to live on for a standard year.
That wasn't the only time that weapons were laid down in place of credits, and at her father's suggestion, Bria started to pick those that she thought she might be able to use, keeping them safely with her other belongings.
Carrying a blaster at her side, while not knowing how to use it, was an accident waiting to happen, so her father showed her what little he knew.
Playing in a couple of games a year, she managed to make enough that her father no longer had to risk taking on cargo or passengers with his ship.
Her last game, however, was to be her downfall. Where she'd been able to soothe over any jangled nerves before, the looser of that game drew a blaster on her. Defending herself, she stunned him, and fled, taking her winnings with her. Pausing only to gather her belongings, she left most of the winnings with her father, before she boarded the first ship who'd take her, not bothered where she'd end up, as long as it was away from there.

And so, she finds herself on Edan II, looking for something better to do than scam credits from the farmers.

When he was sixteen, he led a march through the streets of Hanna City against the Empire with his activist friends. It was disrupted by security force members, and they were forced to flee.
His parents, not liking the direction he was taking his life, kept him away from his meetings and rallies.

When he turned eighteen, he left home, to go to University. But, soon, he grew tired of the education, leaving the planet to find others of his cause. When the Ithorians wouldn’t have him, he decided to join the Rebel Alliance. True, they were a bit violent themselves, but they promise that peace will rain once they defeat the Empire.

Personality:Jespor is completely naïve and doesn’t understand the concept of shades of grey. He sees the world in right and wrong, black and white. To him, all violence is wrong, and that there is a peaceful resolution to every conflict. He is a little bit crazy, and almost everyone he meets views him as such.

Objectives: To bring peace and kindness to the galaxy.

Appearance: Riff wears a light jacket, the back of it is adorned with the faded picture of Krayt dragon coiled in the shape of a credit sign. Below this you can see a swoop racing bodyglove and knee high racing boots. The careful observer will noticed the bulge of a concealed holster behind his back, and the combat harness hidden by the jacket. His brown hair, blue eyes, goofy grin, belie the fact that he's an expert swoop rider.

Background: Riff grew up on Nar Shadaa. Not much else is known of his past other than the fact that he was one of the best swoop riders of his time, after Han Solo disappeared from the circuits. At some point he became a swoop gang leader. He and his gang the Dragons would loot grav trains on the run. This landed him a brief stint with the Imperial Scouts, but he's been AWOL for some time now.

Objectives: To make some money and retire to a nice quiet place in the corporate sector.

*DX-6 is a limited edition blaster pistol that Riff stole enroute to a VIP via grav train. It functions mostly like a DL-6H however it is extremely accurate (3-30/50/120) at the cost of ammunition (15 shots) (OOC: looks like a heavy revolver.) It is also one of Riffs prized possessions.
