Greetings! Just introduced myself in the other forum, and I have a question. I'd like to know which source books have... hmm... how should I put this. Basic starter lists? For like prestatted stuff.

I'm not looking for fantasticly written sourcebooks full of details and polish, I'd just like some source books with large lists of various encounters, and NPCs, and weapons, and tech, and ships and the like. So I can have like a database of stats handy or something. If it's also nicely laid out and has polish, that's even better.

Some books that sound like what I'm looking for are "Galladinium's Fantastic Technology", and "Creatures of the Galaxy". Are these books any good? Any other book that basicly amounts to a D6 version of the monster manual would be great. I need to start working on my collection.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're just after stats, check out Gry's stat books, available for download in the tools thread. There are starships, vehicles, aliens, weapons, equipment, everything from official star wars sources.

If you want the fluff for them, then you'll need the actual books they are from.

Hmm... Actually these are pretty good, and may be just about what I need. Does he happen to have a PDF of like stock encounters or generic mooks tho? I didn't see one on his list, and I could use something like that.

This one's short and sweet, but it's something I cooked up a little while back:
