As far as I know, their Force sight is strictly spatial.

No, no, no. Force sight is simply what it says: sight, through the Force. It is not Sense Force or something like it. Although what that sight encompasses exactly is a bit up for debate. I don't think its quite daredevil's eco-location, I'd think it's more than that. Does it allow the character to differentiate colors? To read text in a piece of paper? To see behind a visual barrier? Dunno...

I would call it more like How Storm (X-men) in the Comic books controlled weather. It was a pattern of colors that were manipulated like paint.
In this case it would be a an image "painted" in patterns of light or colour.
As rule I might allow certain abilities to be 'permanently' active in this sense. Say to sense if the person were alive or a Cyborg, detect droids and differ one life form from another.
Not to mention passive use of Telekinesis as a form of Radar. Sending low level TK waves out to map surroundings. Sort of a Force version of Daredevil but only better.
Fast movement would be easier to cope with and Cloak/Personal Invisibility would be practically useless unless it was force or Dimensional Tech orientated.
Invisible does not always mean intangible. Intangibility with out life force would be invisible. Here is where other force sense help like sense enemy and such. It would also make certain force abilities easier to learn. Like TK as they use it intuitively.
All in all it would Very effective and be difficult to baffle a Force users with this sense. I'd also restrict this to those dedicated to learning it (like ones raised on dark planets where sight was near useless or blind Jedi.
