I just found it in the Creatures of the Galaxy sourcebook. On page ten there is a capsule called Stohl Training. It goes on to say that raising a captured stohl as a good pet or bodyguard requires three Difficult beast training rolls. So the skill is beast training, and it's listed as being a Mechanical skill. I'd assume that the specialties would be the particular creature being trained.
