I have a feeling that my players will try to infiltrate Jabbas palace in our next session (he is holding the daughter of an imperial governor, but that is a long story). Where can I find a description and map of the palace?

Triology sourcebook has a bit and Guide to Mos Eisly also, but I cant find any maps.

I haven't the book myself, but I've browsed the Star Wars Complete Locations and found excellent cutaways of the palace that can be used as maps.

Here are low-res samples I found at the wiki:

Overall of palace and grounds.

Main audience chamber and areas adjacent and below.

I thought that there was a floor plan of it in the Star Wars Technical Journal on Tatooine:

Also, a user from the WotC minis boards has a very nice full color grid map of Jabba's palace. I'm not sure how close it is to any official floor plans:

Here's the map of the throne room from the Technical Journal:

Enjoy, and watch out for that trapdoor.

Another one, or maybe the Rancor replaced some other nasty(that the PCs kill off).

It might be quite a surprise for some PCs to expect a Rancor and run into a Reek, Nexu, Acklay, or even a Gundark.

What do you mean, "or"? Just cram a dozen different horrible beasts in there and let them duke it out.

If you're looking for Jabba's palace to be a bit bigger than that, you can check out the layout and designs that Sony did for Jabba's Palace (for Star Wars: Galaxies).

Their initial work on that game was phenomenal - although it's pretty crappy now imho.

Anyways, for Jabba's Palace, check out this site if you're wanting to make it grander and more glorious in size and have the players check it out:
