Uh, I don't really understand that table, not only because it's all broken up. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

It's a mad-lib. We have to fill in the stat before we know what the die code is. Then we get to look at the stat block and see how good they are. |

With or without the table- there is no need to stat out Specforce- they are all in the Rebel Alliance Sourcebook.
For instance- Pathfinders (attributes only) Dexterity 2d+2, Knowledge 2d, Mechanical 1d+1, Perception 2d+2, Strength 2d+1, Technical 1d.
Mechanical 1d+1? Technical 1d? Is this even possible? _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

That is one of the hard things i hate about this place... tables don't post properly. But for ease..
Lets take the path finder (the second most skill intensive template),
He has 15d worth of dex skills ABOVE the attribute, 5 for knowledge, 6d+1 for mech, 8d+1 for per, 4d+1 for str, and 4d for Tech. This gives him a whapping 43D above his attributes.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Ah, so you were just comparing how many Skill Dice were used in creating each SpecForce unit. I understand, but what is the purpose of this? _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Not just that, but several times i have had people complain that the RSF folks get jipped in relation to regular mook troopers and such, so i did that 'stating out' to show that they were not getting jipped.
By the wya, if anyone wishes, i revised them as many of the 'npcs' they used did not have what i felt they should have. So if anyone wishes a gander at my revised stats for them, give me a PM.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
