Yodas race

That's from the "New Essential Guide to Alien Species". It doesn't say that there were ever only 3 individuals of that species (which were Jedi), but that there are only 3 that have appeared in Star Wars media (Yoda, Yaddle and that dude from KOTOR).

Besides Lucas saying that Yoda is not a Whill, the Whill's were supposed to be the observer of the story, not the participants. Which would eliminate Yoda. I agree with Lucas keeping Yoda's race off limits. Doing otherwise would ruin the mystery behind them.

If you were going to add the race to the game, it would be cool to first make the players go on an epic quest to find the truth. In the end they might not learn much outside of observing the effects the three have had on the galaxy; but it would make for an "Indiana Jones" type campaign arc to "unlock" the race.

Cool idea actually. It would no doubt be the outline for some awesome happenings in a SWD6. Oh, I wish I had a chance to play it regularly

He probably did use the force to keep himself alive for a bit longer to train luke, but i doubt he would try to hard to keep himself alive for that long. Light side believe in the "circle of life" and would die naturally, vice the dark side tries to live longer.
