Ok, I finally purchased my copy of the Complete Visual Dictionary, and I'm very happy with how fat and rich it is! It's just a pity that you can see a very noticeable drop in quality and detail when you enter the Classic Trilogy part of the book. Those pictures just didn't follow the same quality standards adopted with the prequel material...

But on to the Sarlacc, I agree that the picture is a little fuzzy, like it's been blown up a bit too much. However it's very well rendered, with a realistic touch and good logic. I think the "pocket" Boba Fett is in is indeed a tunnel that circles around the whole beast, you can see the other section on the right. I don't know about the positioning in relation to the main chamber, but I guess that's not really all that important...

*bump*

I remember reading the bounty hunter trillogy and Boba fet mused about what the Sarlacc really was. I remember him thinking it may have been similar to a plant in regard to it's regeneritive abilities.

Kinda made me want to go out and get myself a bonsai Sarlacc... I think I need help.

Now that would be an easy way to dispose of inconvenient corpses.

It was a while ago that I read the novels but I believe that's how Bobba Fett escaped.

Good old grenades.

Actually, if I remember correctly, he fired the rockets on his jetpack or set the thing to overload or something. All I know is he dug his way out, but was VERY messed up for a while and that Dengar nursed him back to health.

Although he was able to recover consciousness, grab a falling pistol and blast a tendril into retreating at a moment's notice even while convalessing.

*reads*

*reads some more*

*reads even more*

So he did, or at least someone very much like him did. At least he used a dart thing and not a missile.

Yeah...

You gotta hate getting attacked by staple SW characters like that. I mean, it's GREAT to be part of the history, but you already know you can't kill em...

...and the only way it CAN'T be Boba Fett is if it happens to be yet ANOTHER unaltered clone of Jango, who also HAPPENED to be at Geonosis to watch his 'old man' buy it in the arena...
