I have just downloaded it via the usual "save as" method and had no problem at all.

Just managed to DL the sourcebooks Gry put together and am in the process of comparing them with stuff from "The Rebellion" page. So far, I've found 4 races that didn't make it into the sourcebook that he put together: The Aquar, Fia, Moochers, and Mugaaris. All of them were from Coruscant and the Core Worlds Sourcebook. Should I drop them in here, do ya think?

I'll keep going over the stuff I have access to and compare...

That's very useful, thanks. I actually noticed the missing Fia soon after I finished the book, but the others escaped me. It's good to have those listed if I ever to a second edition of that book or something.

Thanks.

There's a few ships missing from the Starships file. The Class-7 Repair Vessel from Supernova and the Mestapol Zephyr Light Fighter from Politics of Contraband, for instance.

Yes, I know. There's plenty more than that missing from that book, because at the time I made it I didn't have access to all of WEG books. "Starships Stats - Revised & Expanded" would rectify all that, but alas.....

Gry, I have a question regarding Hutt War Armor as described on page 27 of your Equipment File. How is it that the armor has a penalty and a bonus to Dexterity?

Also, what price should be used as the basis for modifications to such armor?

The answer to your first question is that it is a powersuit. It's very bulky, thus the -2D DEX penalty, however it has built-in servos that can negate some of that, granting a +2 bonus for a total penalty of -1D+1. However, like any powersuit, it requires a successful Powersuit Operation roll to grant the wearer its bonuses. So if you fail that roll (or if the suit is somehow deactivated), you're stuck with the full -2D DEX penalty.

The answer to your second question is, I have no idea. It's listed as not available for sale, being an ancient piece of specialized armor. Looking at it, most high-end powersuits are listed as not available for sale, so you'll have to make an educated wild guess. I'd say about 100,000

Another name for it is "tchun-tchin". Tchun is the right headtail, and tchin the left... or was it vice versa? I can't remember.

Anyway that's referred to in the X-Wing space sim guidebook.

I say the Holiday Special is a valid source for a Galaxy Guide.

Life Day
Wookie traditions...
Bea Arthur's bartender character
Harvey Coleman
The musical acts...
The Boba Fett cartoon
Plenty of material to turn into d6.

But I ain't gonna do it. I gave the community the cover, and that's it.

Harvey Korman.

The Holiday Special is canonical according to Lucasfilm, as much as they are ashamed of it. I've recently watched in its entirety, and to be perfectly honest, I found nothing in it (mythos-wise) as objectionable as I found the prequels. It's cheesy as hell, yes, but taking away the excruciatingly horrible performances, I found it to mesh rather well with my preferred pre-SE&prequel view of the Star Wars Universe.

I don't want to do the sourcebook, though. For that I would have to watch the special over and over again, and one exposure is bad enough. It was over a month ago that I watched it and my brain still hurts from the Wookiee TV dancing pseudo-porn show alone.
