They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Naturally they became
heroes..."

Recruiting a band of desperate heroes, travelling the Outer Rim at the
height of the Galactic Empire, righting wrongs and bringing peace and
justice, under the noses of Moffs, Dark Side Adepts and Imperial
Stormtroopers alike. High action/adventure, in the style of the old Lando
Calrissian and Han Solo novels; not to mention the trilogy itself...

Questions & Answers

Where and When?
The campaign is to be run on alternate Thursdays, starting on the 18th of
May, online using Screenmonkey at 2000 London time.

What Rules System?
Will be using 2nd Edition Revised & Expanded Star Wars D6 rules.

What templates are available?
Anything in the core book as a baseline; if you want to tweak the templates
or come up with something else, that'll be fine. Jedi are allowed.

What is the 'core concept'?
The Magnificent Seven. A band of heroes fighting for right, for those who
cannot defend themselves.

Is this a Play by Post or on AIM, or something else?

It's an online gaming program, with some pretty nice touches. Only the GM needs the program; the players just go to a set URL.

I'll have to try that. Do you know if the "Lite" version is enough to use properly? Does it roll dice, and if so, how does the Star Wars D6 systems works with it?

The Lite version appears fine for use. It has dice built in; a good wide range are available. The Wild Dice is not built in; I was planning to just roll that seperately.

Try as I might, I can't connect into my announced game. Have you got any idea what's wrong?

Sorry ti intrude in the intent of this thread. It's just that my gaming group got spread around the world and we're desperately trying to set up a decent virtual game....

How newbie friendly will this campaign be? I recently found my old Star Wars Roleplaying game book in the garage and dusted it off, but I haven't played since a long, long time ago. Besides building a character (and what kind of character would you like for this campaign?), what else should I do to join in?

Ditto to what the guy before me said -

I am VERY interested and I REALLY want to be a part of this campaign but have never played online before. COUNT ME IN if you'll have me.

Send me a Private Message (PM) with whatever other info I need to connect to the game on the 18th

PS - For the ScreenMonkey program does it matter what web browser I use or if I have a PC or a Mac ?
