Word.
Ragnar is no ones lackey.

Still, I can only think of one time I pitted pc vs pc. That game never went very far from the drawing board though...

if my players start to fight amongst one another, i try to make it so that they have to work together. maybe send in another, stronger enemy that they must work together to defeat, anyone agree?

That's a good idea. Create a common enemy that's after them all. There's nothing that will bring a group together like fighting for their lives together. Very Happy

too true, in a heated moment where everyones @$$ is on the line, differences between characters can be very easily set aside.

In my group I know who the punk is that is going runaway no matter what the game is. The problem is that so does everyone else. So, when he does leave depending the the situation he either get's "missed" or shot in the back.

you wouldnt have to make it a battle, you could just somehow say that they were all captured and they must work together to get out, does that help? Shocked

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Common goals can put an argument to a quick end. Escaping from a garbage smasher can really put some perspective on what's really important. Good friends fight as often as they get along. True bonds are formed in conflict. (Goku and Vegeta after the fight with Buu, for example.) Han and Leia, after many tough situations, really got close. Crell and Ragnar, the best of friends. Smile

It make sense that sometimes players argue. Characters crammed into a small ship for weeks at time began to get sick of each other after a while.
Moderation between players getting along and not getting along is key for a long term game.

That's what I meant. Players. Characters are another matter. Sometimes they split up and sometimes new bonds are formed. Vance and Ragnar may have become friends, if things went differently.

The point is, arguments aren't to be encouraged, but also shouldn't be outlawed either.
