Crap, right! They started being designed after Yavin... I thought they were being used just after Yavin.

Well crap. I don't really want to do the X-Wing or Y-Wing route, and ot interested in the freighter route... I'll just come up with something else. Something ground based Wink

Okay since everyone sends me pm with chars i thought i make some things clear.

House rules
I dont use Melee parry and brawling parry, they dont exist.

Grenade skill does not exist, its a speciality under Thrown weapons. You should proably have demolitions as well if you want to know how to use them for real.

The melee skill is under strenght not dexterity.

If you want to be force sensitive you only start with 18D in attributes and if you want force skills you reduce your attribute base by +1 for each skill. So if you want control 1D, sense 1D and alter 1D you start with 17D.

Force skills Cost doubble after char creation. You can by individual powers thou. that costs a flat +1 for 1D in a power then you rasie it as a speciallity in cost. You can have no more than your lowest force power in a spec. After char creation you pay a flaat 5 cp to aquire 1D.

So if you have sense 1D+2 and control 2D+1 you maximum lightsabercombatskill is 1D+2 and you roll. Sense + lightsaber combat skill and control + lightsaber combat skill to activate the force power.

There is an advanced skill known as Cool under fire for lack of better name that adds to willpower, preception and the like just like a regular advanced skill in stressed situations its appropriate for military chars.

I've switched to Duros A-Wing pilot. Despite loving A-Wings, I've never played a pilot Razz I'll equip him with some rounded ability to fight too.

ZOMG!!!! we can do a wraith squadron type game. all fighter pilots Very Happy

Well, I DEFINITELY love the Wraiths and Rogues, so that'll be alright! Wink

This is gonna be REAL weird, all these different house rules. Don't think I've ever played with that many before.

Oh, and if you want to specialize in a fighter, but don't want X-wing or Y-wing, try the Z-95 or perhaps even an archaic fighter like the Aethersprite.

...Or even a heavily modified TIE fighter... Twisted Evil

Well, I was planning to be a kind of standard Rebel squadron; neither of those ships is exactly Rebel stadard... well, the Z-95 is, but it's not hyperspace capable. I'm not really big on pilots, but if I could have my favorite fighter, I'd go for it. Without the A-Wing, I'm just playing a character type that I don't like Razz

If you are dead set on the a-wing im sure we can have some artistic freedom with the timeline. You might be the test pilot of the a-wing project. we just move that forward a few mounths.

I'd thought about the test pilotidea... but decided that it didn't make a lot of sense. Sure, he might be a test pilot, but the prototype wouldn't be freely wheeling about the galaxy... they'd want to keep a close eye on it and its performance. Wink

I'll just go with a character concept I like better. It's usually best not to design a character around a piece of equipment anyway.

True, but i meant that you had been the test pilot and now the test program is almost completed. Just a few "hot" test left before combat conditions. That way the fighter would be on its way to the fighter bases i a few weeks. But take whatever suits you i character.
