After talking with Noc, I think this is what I'm looking at for my character:

Dexterity: 3D+1
Blaster - 3D+2
specialization: blaster pistols - 4D+2
Dodge - 4D
Running - 4D

Knowledge: 3D
Intimidation - 4D
Alien Species - 3D+1
Planetary Systems - 3D+1
Willpower – 4D

Mechanical: 2D
Starship Gunnery - 3D

Perception: 3D
Command - 4D
specialization: medical situations - 5D

Strength: 4D
Brawling - 5D
specialization: streetfighting - 6D
Stamina – 5D
Lifting – 5D
Swimming - 4D+1
Climbing/Jumping - 4D+1

Technical: 4D
Droid Repair – 5D
First Aid - 5D+1
(A) Medicine – 3D+1
Space Transport Repair - 4D+1

No, I meant you added shields and a hyperdrive. WORK WITH ME, MAN!!! Rolling Eyes

Am I correct that other than buying specialties in the Force skills, you'll follow normal rules for advancement and power acquisition? Meaning that every pip you add costs equivalent to the number of dice you have in that skill (unless no teacher, then it's double)? And that for every pip you add, you get to add a power?

yeah, only times two since i belive that the core force skills are to cheap.

So to increase for example control from 2d+2 to 3D costs 4 cp. without a teacher 8 cp. You get a new power on evry blip inrease thou.

Ok. Handy to know.

But for creation they're still one for one, right?

For example, Control Sense and Alter to 1D each costs 1 pip from Attributes. Then to raise each to three costs 6 CPs total. Do I have it right?

Skyler, are you planning on creating a Force-sensitive character? I was thinking of doing a Force-sensitive Twi'lek, but if you're doing a FS character I'll need to come up with something else (I'm not a big believer in having more than one Force-sensitive character in this era). Just let me know. Very Happy

I was working on a Force-sensitive something as well.

It's not going to be a Lightsaber twirling kinda character, so hopefully they won't butt heads too often.

*goes back to see what else she needs to add to her background to make it make some sense*

Definitely agree with you there. I'm still bouncing around a few ideas in my head. Is our missions group going to be assigned any ships? If we get any fighters I may do a pilot type.
