If anyone is interested, Wizards of the Coast have put up a stat and deckplan of the 720 on their website, promoting their new sourcebook Starships of the Galaxy....

It's d20, but who cares, this ship is very popular in d6 campaigns, so I thought I'd pass it along....

He was passing on the deckplan information... because it is used often already in d6.

Behind the scenes: The deckplans were created on graph paper for SotG by longtime net D6 guy Gary Astleford of the Rebellion website.

This deckplan is very neat. So far the only major gripe I have with it is that the beds are only 1.5 meters long. Is that a jawa ship? And why do you need a fresher with that many stalls for such a small ship?

I have to agree with Gry. I'm 5'3" and I' would find that bed too small to sleep in. They need to be at least 2m long.

Longer if it's a Wookiee ship.

And I'd hate to see the size of the Beds in Hutt Ships!

There probably wouldn't be a bed. You imaging a self respecting hutt not being carried everywhere on his bed.

I mean, they would probably just modify a cargo bay of an existing freighter to be a lounge for the hutt and company.

Those are some spacious escape pods.

Pretty though.

"Ummmmmmmmm, Jim. Why are you always sleeping in the Escape Pods?"

"Well, they're larger than my room. Quieter. Warmer. And I make sure they're stocked at all times. As well, if something happens while I'm asleep, I'm already in position to prep the pod for release."

The original map I drew didn't include beds; those were added by the artist, and they're just represenational.

As for the escape pods, yeah, they're pretty big. If you check the original map of the Ghtroc in Platt's Smuggler's Guide, you'll see that they're just as big there. I wanted to make sure I was as true to the original material as I could be.

All in all, I'm very pleased with the way the map turned out, based on my own primitive depiction. Chris West does some awesome work.

The escape "pods" are more like smaller shuttles themselves.

I'm naming my next Ghtroc 720 "Serenity".

Ours was called The Great A'Tuin. Discworld fans will get it.
