Narrator: Jedi Master Chun Tehgan was a bit of a celebrity, not that he wanted celebrity status being the stern man that he was. A middle aged human with tan complexion and reasonably good looks, salt and peppered hair, and a medium build, he could very well have been a senator, a holo-vid star, or an athlete. Like it or not, celebrity status came with being the watchman of the Duros System, a major point for traffic and commerce along the Corellian Trade Route. People inside his circle knew he had left on urgent business that the Jedi Council on Coruscant and Ossus both agreed that he must attend to at once. Meetings had been canceled, truces were kept but treaties had been put on hold, and Republic military counterparts instead of the watchman himself would greet dignitaries. Rarely did he turn to his attendants, advisors, and aides; he listened to them, allowed them to do small amounts of planning, but he made sure that everyone knew that since he was ultimately responsible; he would run the show. He surprised many of his aides who thought of him at first as being a stuffy warrior philosopher, but soon they saw that his expertise lay in several different areas besides the Force. Economics, security, military tactics, history…They weren’t only important facets of his job in safeguarding the system; they were his hobby.

So, when Chun Tehgan walked out of the Duros-Corellia System-Hopper Courier “The Gray Owl,” and saw himself amongst the bustle of commerce on Coruscant, he felt right at home…even though he was not. The Council had summoned him here to give him a new temporary assignment; one they said he had to attend to personally. Insight from experience and visions in the Force told him that he was heading down a dark road; one that began with springing a trap in a very dangerous part of space…It was very little to go on, but mental preparation had always helped…even though it seemed that whether he was prepared or not, he always had the same tools at hand; his lightsaber, PTP-link, utility belt components, and the Force.

At the gates of the Jedi Compound within Republic City, the guards greeted him with a satchel, a belt, a gun holster, and a pulse wave pistol. He was escorted to a room next to the guard shack and asked to change; and he complied. It was very strange that he had traveled for weeks to be greeted with a spacer’s set of clothes…but it hinted at his mission being one that wasn’t going to take place in Jedi friendly territory. He found a jumpsuit within the satchel and placed his lightsaber and robe within the satchel. Upon leaving the room outside the guard shack, he saw Jedi Master Chiduah O’tuuk nod in approval at his new wardrobe.

“I haven’t been out of Jedi Robes for almost two decades old friend…What have you gotten me into?”

The Twi’lek’s smile faded…He held out his hand, turned and pointed towards the compound…

“We think he has returned…We know your trip has been a long one…unfortunately your stay here will be short…”

“He…he who?”

Jamarek…we think it’s Jamarek…your former appr…”

“Yes…yes…I remember who he is…You don’t need to remind me of my failings…”

“I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to offend…He was a great pupil…What happened…it wasn’t your fault…”

“Well, you’d feel differently if he was your s…”

Narrator: The Twi’lek Jedi Master’s PTP link chirped and he keyed it in response…

“All have gathered…”

“Okay, thank you Jedi Rusk..” (turning back to Tehgan)…”I suppose I would, but…we’re not here to discuss that…We’re here to discuss getting to the bottom of a gem hijacking…and why the pirates who orchestrated the attack have one amongst them who wields a lightsaber…one that uses attack pattern Tri-sigma.”

Narrator: Tehgan said nothing…he just calmed himself as he walked…This would be his greatest challenge…perhaps the greatest challenge of his life. Security for a system was a walk in the park compared to tracking Jamarek…Facing Jamarek, that would something else. When Jamarek and Tehgan had last clashed blades, Tehgan was the master, and Jamarek was nothing more than a boy barely out of teens. Now…Jamarek had to be in his mid to late thirties…

Entering the first and smallest of the audience chambers, O’tuuk suddenly stopped. The door at the opposite end of the chamber lifted quickly and five beings were escorted in by a young Jedi Knight…

“They’re at your service Masters…”

“May I introduce to you two Jedi students…your Jedi students, and one of the Freedom Warriors newest…and finest…along with two survivors of the ship-jacking that are here with a tale…”

Narrator: Tehgan looked them over…The first, a young human male with nearly shaved hair, with exception to the top knot in beads…He had a slight hunch, and when he saw that he was being examined, he shied away and backed up a bit. He was a Jedi, perhaps shy, perhaps a little unsure of himself, perhaps an introspective problem solver much like he had been at that age…The next young man…was a Togruta…even in his travels, Tehgan only had seen a handful of the exotic race of people. Tehgan sensed that he was trained to approximately the same level that the first young man was, but while the first young man seemed armed only for a rough cantina, the Togruta appeared as if he was going on safari with a Czerka rifle. Who knew?….Maybe that was in order where they were going. Things could get wild…and with the third one in the group…it might be a challenge to keep his new students from getting wild with her…She was almost without question the Freedom Warrior and he prayed that his new students…of which he still didn’t know their names…knew that she was a commando and could quite possibly could rip their heads off. She was not their stewardess. He didn’t know that it was possible to roll the grace of a dancer, the brawn of a professional gymnast, and the discipline of a soldier all into one very attractive young woman in tight-fitting link armor…but it looked as if it had been done. The next two, a violet skinned Twi’lek woman who was dressed as inconspicuously as he was…except for the fact that she wore a heavy slugthrower pistol on her right hip over her loose fitting jumpsuit. With the Jedi Master, the pulse wave pistol was a prop…part of a disguise…With the two women, they weren’t part of their costume…but their job. She crossed her arms as soon as she realized the Jedi Master was looking at her…no one needed to be able to use the Force to tell that she wasn’t used to being bossed around…It would be interesting to hear her tale…and the one of her hulking friend behind her…a Zexx. He gave her a little shove and barked: “Well aren’t you going to introduce us!?”

“Let the Jedi Master speak first…what we have to say will take much much longer…”

Narrator: Tehgan nodded to her, and outstretched his hand. Chairs from the walls of the room lifted and casually drifted over the floor to all of those in the room and were set gently down behind them.

“It appears that by the dress and room, this meeting is to be a casual one. I’m Jedi Master Tehgan…(winces with a frown)…Who are you all?…I can read surface thoughts…there are many questions…uncertainty…I’m sure after introductions, Master O’tuuk will fill us in on why we’ve gathered.

'Ladies first' seemed appropriate for a 'casual' moment, at least to her anyway, "Myshalla B'ock of Zeltros. I've been trained with the Freedom Warriors' 8th & 10th Battalions--the Tarsis Neo-Spacians & the Nal Hutta Nova Spiders, respectively! I was originally part of an acrobatic troupe, but that came to an abrupt end courtesy of some undesirables attached to a Hutt Cartel. After 'having my freedoms reasserted' with the 8th Battalion's aid, I began my training...I confess that I am still relatively new, but I would just as soon spare others what I went through."
Though her introduction was done with her normal carefree manner, her message had a serious edge to it. Any who new grammar would likely catch her referraeces...As it was the two Freedom Warrior units had good track records, though her commander was leery about letting her be assigned on so little prior training.
All things in time, she thought...

Atlis steps forward and places the butt of his long rifle on the ground and supports himself like with a walking stick as he bows to the Jedi Master. "Sir, I am Atlis Elatr, I am honored to be in your service." He will continue to keep his head bowed as he takes a step back into the line of new companions. He will keep to himself unless asked for further information as he has no accolades or achievements to discuss other than managing to survive his time on his native planet of Shili.

Darrin looks around waiting for the others to speak, then he steps forward and makes eye contact with Jedi Master Chun Tehgan and nods and in a rarity releases a slight smile. Then before any return gesture can be exchanged Darrin quickly steps back into line and then looks down again hoping not to draw attention to himself.

CHUN: I’m pleased to meet all of you. Such a young group…To my Jedi Students Darrin and Atlis…I take the role of mentor and instructor seriously, and I expect you pay close attention to my lessons; and the Force, which you will soon see has as much to say about your use of it as I may…To all of you, Jedi and Freedom warrior; I hope to learn as much from you as you do from me. May my years of experience serve you well; and may your youth and skill at arms help keep an old man like myself from getting killed…(to the Twi’lek and Zexx)…I presume that you were attacked, the Force tells me that you’re a pilot…and you’re…

ZEXX: Master at arms for the Ancient Mariner…Well, I was…I leave my post in disgrace. I am FOHCLOM…and I am at your service Master Jedi.

NARRATOR: CHUN seems to pay little attention to the Zexx’s last comment…CHUN’s eyes close for a few seconds and then open again…his face seemed to exhibit a bit of clarity…

CHUN: Yes…the large vessel…the ancient transport…and (to the Twi’lek) the smaller vessel, an explorer class ship you piloted rendezvoused with the Ancient Mariner…what was your purpose in doing that?

TWI'LEK: Flight Officer VELAH DUN speaking…. The Republic Explor-corps often loans probes to mining vessels and ore haulers like the Ancient Mariner…I was there to pick them up…Master CHUN…I would like to show you my ship, to give you a better understanding what FOHCLOM, I and the others escaped from.

NARRATOR: MASTER CHUN motioned for her and MASTER O’TUUK to lead the way…she hinted that they would be traveling north…and if he remembered correctly that was to a private ship bay…Likely the place where her ship was being held…either for repairs, evidence…or both. The FOHCLOM started up with his tale as they walked…everyone around him could tell that he felt guilty for being there…being alive…and not having had gone down on the ship…

FOHCLOM: What we esecaped from…it was a beast. It wasn’t a ship…it couldn’t have been a ship…It…had tentacles…some were for grappling…some were for piercing the hull of our ship…and sending in troops. They weren’t pirates…They were professional soldiers. They attacked in units…not like a bunch of loot crazy bandits!!! They even had droids! Droid soldiers…Marching along the ore conveyors laying waste to anything that moved with their blast rifles…not missing a step. It was like they were on a death parade! I should have been on the bridge…not reinforcing the engineering station. That’s usually where they attack…to stop the engine, then take the loot…They weren’t after the loot it seemed…They were after the ship itself…the part their ship didn’t eat.

CHUN: How many survivors? While seemingly insignificant at the time to the attacking crew…they must realize that you escaped and would report this?

FOHCLOM: However many I could get aboard DUN’S ship as soon as I heard that the bridge had been taken and the captain had been killed. Fifteen at first…after offloading the probes in haste, we got another seventeen aboard. Most of them ore processors…a few of them were my guard…

DUN: It was as he said…Please don’t doubt FOHCLOM’s courage. I had to have some of my crew and those he had rescued pull him aboard as I broke oxygen hold with the ship. Luckily the enemy…the enemy ship-beast…it didn’t use a boarding talon…or tentacle on us…We’d be done for. Instead, we got a snare tentacle…We blasted free from it and limped away…the attacking beast of a vessel…it was too busy with the Ancient Mariner to go after a knat like us…

O’TUUK: The holo-footage they have of their escape and race away from the beast ship is impressive, you’ll see it shortly…as you will hear the sounds of who we believe to be Jamarek…sounds of the captain dying by lightsaber from the bridge.

CHUN:….How did the attack go down?

NARRATOR: Master Chun's calm inquisitive voice seemed to be a balance between the deep hardy voice of the Zexx, and the high pitched voice of the Twi'lek woman. Each pitch seemed to echo a little differently as they moved down a hallway which seemed to become an ever widening corridor. Soon, the round stone walls of the corridor curved upward into a dome as they entered a large structure with an oculus showing the bright light of the early afternoon sky…The light beat down onto the damaged freighter….

DUN: The attack happened just outside the fifth moon of Azzotu II’s gravity. Two smaller ships at first…They came out from the dark side of the moon's cover, hooked around and fired several concussion missile blasts into the Ancient Mariner’s engineering hull-base. That’s where everyone thought the hull breach was going to be…and the likely point of boarding. FOHCLOM and the guards doubled up in that region to repel attacks from seemingly smaller ships…The hauler slowed to put the fires out of control and repel attack. That’s when the beast ship came. Hooked tentacles slammed into the sides of the hauler….then came the boarding chute tentacles…The enemy forces spread throughout the ship at multiple points. (points to the hull of her ship)…Just one hooked tentacle hit our ship…the hauler was hit was hundreds…We lost one processor when the hook hit…luckily we transferred everyone else over to the second bay before the pressure caused the second compartment to rupture. You can see where the barbs on the tentacle ripped more out of the ship as we continued to shoot at it…

CHUN: Did anyone see the two smaller ships…the ones that fired the concussion missiles?

DUN: They were modified Byblos supply shuttles…heavily modified into gunships. I have specs on what the ship looks as it leaves the manufacturer’s dock, and what it looked like when the hauler I was attached to was attacked. The differences are very drastic. A Byblos supply shuttle is cheaply made and easily purchased. Un-modified, one couldn’t firefight its way out of a paperbag…But when all of its cargo space is taken up with extra shield generators, weapons, and armor…They can be a nightmare. (produces a holo and shows the group)

OOC: I don't think I'm gonna be using colors for dialogue, so please pick a color, any color besides black or white, Atlis looks to have blue, so

Myshalla didn't like what she had been hearing: a 'ship having tentacles'?!

"Master, do you know of any races that employ craft of bio-technology? What's been described would indicate such a craft, or some space creature that's been genetically-altered. There can't be too many capable of that can there?!"

She knew the likelihood was high it wasn't anyone in the Republic--it was a big universe out there. Still, it was worth asking to make sure all their bases were covered, so they could focus without diversion...

Darrin listens in to the exchange lingering behind the group doing what he does best. LISTENING, and then listening to Myshalla's questions. Thinking to himself if he ever encountered something like that in his travels.

Atlis has a puzzled and contemplative look on his face as he has no idea as to what they could be talking about, but stays very interested after the mention of the sound of lightsabers over the comms.

"Master, do you know of any races that employ craft of bio-technology? What's been described would indicate such a craft, or some space creature that's been genetically-altered. There can't be too many capable of that can there?!"

MASTER O’TUUK: None that the Jedi know of…that is why the Jedi Shadows are planning an investigation…Investigation and elimination of this threat…thought to be lead by a former member of our ranks…

FOHCLOM: Are all gathered before us Jedi of the Shadow Sect…certainly we’re not, Sub-lieutenant Dun and I aren’t Jedi…and neither is the Freedom Warrior. The Jedi Master to lead us isn’t a Shadow either…he’s the Watchman of Duros! How can we hope to keep a low profile…we’re still involved in this matter? I want revenge!

MASTER O’TUUK: You may not get revenge, but you will get answers…and answers are what we need in order to bring this creature-ship, its crew and captain to justice….MASTER CHUN was once a Jedi Shadow…He is skilled in stealth, espionage, and he is the best suited to find JAMAREK. Life bonds don’t die easily with former students…MASTER CHUN can track JAMAREK, track him as if he were his brother…

MASTER CHUN: …or son. No secrets on who JAMAREK is, my Jedi Shadow friend. JAMAREK is my son…was my son…and life bonds do not die at all…they tend to grow stronger as those who are bonded grow in the Force…To the point where if he dies, I myself die. If I die, then he continues…

MASTER O’TUUK: An extension of your life…he can continue without you…but you not without him.

MASTER CHUN: You want him alive…to face trial. I have much at stake in bringing him to justice…to answer for casting him out of the order unsupervised, to answer for releasing him with his powers and knowledge of the Jedi intact…You chose me to track him because he is a part of me…and you know that I will show restraint in his apprehension, if I wish to live…Tell me, why do you think it is JAMAREK...my son is a sulker, not a murderer. Any fight he had in him surely must have been beaten out of him long ago.

NARRATOR: The Twi’lek Jedi Shadow Master retrieved a holo-recorder. There was no image, but one could hear pulse-wave blaster fire, the sound of a whirling lightsaber blade…and then a bit of silence…one could hear just inside the audible range whimpering…then what sounded like begging. What was heard following the begging was simply “No.”…it was followed by the sound of a whirling blade and the sound of a lightsaber striking a living structure…someone died. The begging stopped, and then there was a cut off statement…”Repair the drive and set course for…”

VELAH DUN: Didn’t realize its forensic value at the time…but its not like we would have stuck around longer to collect more…We high tailed it of there…

MASTER O’TUUK: Do you agree that was his voice? Do you agree that wasn’t the Tri-sigma form being used? He used your modified forms…you can hear the patterns as he killed the captain’s guards on the bridge…He executed the captain, and he gave orders to move the ship…to where we don’t know. Imprisonment should have been the proper course, not banishment. That…that was not your fault Chun. You tried to turn him back…you spoke to him about his actions, his usage of dark powers…his unwillingness to slow his training. He was going to fast, and grew sullen when he wasn’t allowed to learn things he couldn’t control…and then, he took the law into his own hands…Do you remember what he said to you?

MASTER CHUN: It’s him…I’m a little surprised though…still…Why now? Why didn’t he strike out long before now? I remember what he last said…I taught him to handle the lightsaber…difficult forms…forms I thought would keep him busy…or make him see that he wasn’t ready…but instead he mastered them. He withdrew from his friends, his studies of the Force…even eating at times. He didn’t slow down…looked at us as if we were holding him back…I told him to take a break…I told him that I was worried about him…I told him that what he was doing and becoming wasn’t the Jedi way. Forsaking his studies in search of dark teachings…modifying the forms I taught him into something wilder…more animalistic…I remember his face, the look of shock and hurt when I told him that. He said “How is what I’m doing not the Jedi Way? I went to your lessons. I listened to your fellow masters and friends as they droned on. I listened to them say that I would find my place and style and fit control of the Force to my own being within the Jedi Code…I’m doing just that. Don’t dare try to hold me back. Don’t dare try to stop me from surpassing you.”

MASTER O’TUUK: That was before he murdered the thief who was stealing bread for his family so they could eat? What was the corrupting agent?

MASTER CHUN: I’ve often wondered that. I’ve always thought it was something we said to him or something we did…even though I don’t know what. He didn’t have access to dark studies. He never found a dark talisman or was exposed to anyone who would have swayed him to the dark side of the Force…I don’t know what could have happened. I thought we were careful…what could it have been? He forced the council’s hand…they banished him. They couldn’t stand the thought of a former Jedi being imprisoned, so they kicked him out…

MASTER O’TUUK: Have you ever considered that no one is at fault but JAMAREK? Some people are just born bad…and I hate to say that CHUN…about your son…but evil needs to start somewhere. I don’t think it is always learned…I think it is born. No one taught him those dark powers…he taught himself…bi-products of the corruption of our teachings. No one made him strike down that thief with dark lightning…he did. You must stop him. He would have killed you if he could have when you last clashed. You delivered him to the council and they banished him. You must stop him…bring him back before the Republic, the Council will not intervene…

MASTER CHUN: He is no longer my son…but I will do what I can.

MASTER O’TUUK: I’m hoping that he is very much your son. He will be drawn to you as you will be to him. Bring him back.

MASTER CHUN: If my apprentices, the Freedom Warrior, and the crewmen who encountered the attack return without me or JAMAREK…know that the Life Bond had grown beyond a mere linking…otherwise I will return with my son in shackles…

MASTER O’TUUK: Either way…you lose. I’m sorry.

MASTER CHUN: Yes, I know…Duty before loss…I know how hollow that can sound, but here…it really is the truth.

MASTER O’TUUK (hands CHUN a loading roster): This is a loading roster for the Owl. You’re all going on a gem delivery to the Azzotu system. You’ll be making the run to deliver the gems to Count Nayclon of the Azzotu System Triumverate…at least, you will if you’re not attacked on the way there.

MASTER CHUN: We’re bait?

MASTER O’TUUK: Yes…there were no Jedi on the last ore hauling, and there rarely are Jedi spared for courier duty of gems. This time, if they strike…and since your manifest shows you to be carrying the 5th tear of Azzotu…they most likely will. The attackers will find a host of Jedi waiting for them…Mask your presence from your son, and wait for them to ensnare you…Then you and your team sets its own trap.

Myshalla listened as the elders [so-to-speak] presented the situation & back-story. It was a sad thing indeed to see a family split up...something she knew of quite well! As they finished their plan, she had a bit of a distaste for it;
something seemed to be missing...

"Master, if I may: we're going to want to have a plan-b & likely a plan-c! If Jamarek is connected as you have said, he may have studied ways to pry through various shrouds of stealth. Also, unless we've got substantial escort in this cover story, they're likely to suspect foul play & take appropriate action." She didn't relish the idea of the ship being blown out of space with them inside still, but the predatory kind like these no-goods wouldn't think twice about it. It was a risk to be sure, & she wanted nothing left to chance if it could be helped...

MASTER O'TUUK: (straight face) I'm sorry Mistress Myshalla...we're completely shooting from the hip here...I'm afraid you're just going to have to make do with being bait.

NARRATOR: MASTER CHUN gave a harsh glance at the Twi'lek Master Shadow...who was met back with a smile.

MASTER O'TUUK: Everyone take a moment to gather oneself...you've been given so little information about the task, but more information about one's master and insight on the man who is now your foe than perhaps you were ready for at once....I know...there is little room for humor here when embarking on such a treacherous and dark journey...but what I say is partially true. Meditation on the attack has yielded no insight on what course of action is to be taken. We know we cannot wait for another ship to be attacked. We don't know how many ships have been lost due to JAMAREK's treachery and it was luck that VELAH DUN and FOHCLOM have been able to give us as much information as they have. We must act…we are bound by the Code to act. If JAMAREK has gained enough power and understanding to tear though a wall that his father puts up, it won't go unnoticed...and even if that were done, tricks of the mind can be used to undermine an attempt to tear through stealth.

MASTER CHUN: To make him see us where we are not...

MASTER O'TUUK: Precisely!...In regards to the cover story, rarely are escorts seen transporting gems...that would go against the idea of the courier ship. A tough, dependable, and fast ship as The Grey Owl...it needs no escort...An escort would do it little good considering that the ship-beast was as large if not larger than the Ancient Mariner. Keep in mind that so far the plan is to get captured. They seem to be after jewels, gems...ore...and that you shall have.

MASTER CHUN: It's still very risky...and I think the plan of being captured to the younger ones here...no...wait...myself included think this is not the best plan.

MASTER O'TUUK: Yes...its risky...but unless you can find out where the ship-beast docks, where JAMAREK stays, what his goals are, the enemy strength in numbers, his defenses....unless you can expect to find people willing to spill their guts about JAMAREK, his bunch, and his beast...this is the only plan. Find them...let them come to you...and then you can decide to flee and see if you can get them to chase you to where COUNT NAYCLON waits aboard his space station...and may be prepared to offer assistance...or you can be enveloped by the beast...and when the beast presents its innards to you after you've been swallowed, you choke it into submission...

MASTER CHUN: ...or if need be...stab it though the heart with your saber.

MASTER O'TUUK: No my friend, I wish to see you again...and I wish to see JAMAREK in prison. We all do...the Council, and those of us who walk apart from it....

Atlis very cautiously speaks up. "Master Chun I know that I have little experience in this matter but I do know one universal truth about catching someone and that is that delaying is your worst enemy. The faster we get on the trail the more clues will still be there to find and the less distance our target could have travelled. We know little of this chase but the information is out there and not here. I recommend we start to track them while we can still be the hunters." Atlis bows his head a little disappointed in himself for offering advice to such an respected audience but knowing that the mission needs to leave soon.

"Master Chun I know that I have little experience in this matter but I do know one universal truth about catching someone and that is that delaying is your worst enemy. The faster we get on the trail the more clues will still be there to find and the less distance our target could have travelled. We know little of this chase but the information is out there and not here. I recommend we start to track them while we can still be the hunters."

MASTER CHUN: Yes...that's correct. Time is not on our side.

MASTER O'TUUK: Yes...but...we have a clue from the crewman who escaped the beast ship...and that is the very nature of this ship...It behaved like a beast...When its tentacles missed its target, it could quickly readjust the tentacle hooks...not like a man-controlled harpoon...which would need to be retracted and fired again...It is as if the ship itself is a beast...or controlled by one...

MASTER CHUN: If OCHOOR of the Nazzar were here, he may have some insight...

MASTER O'TUUK: Your insight serves you well, and while the elder Beastmaster isn't available...his son is. Jedi CHOORO...he awaits you at your ship...As you draw nearer to the system where the attack occured, he should have insight...possibly insight that cannot be masked by the JAMAREK.

OOC: We're gonna be moving out. If there are any more questions for Master O'tuuk, fire away. If not, the PCs, Chun, Dun, and Fohclom will be heading off to meet Chooro and possibly even Jedi Skyler. Smile

NARRATOR: Master O’TUUK escorted, Master CHUN, Myshalla, Darrin, Atlis and the two survivors of the marauding beast ship to the docking bay where Master CHUN's vessel awaited them. The silver hull of The Gray Owl glistened in the sunlight. The occulus at the top of the domed bay let light shine down inside the busy bay. There were droids performing system scans, bay personnel performing daily maintenance tasks, safety inspections, and at the arrival of the Jedi; fuel hose unhooking and stowage...they were ready for takeoff.

The only one who wasn't moving around the bay was a tall dark broad shouldered Nazzar who wore a pulse-wave pistol on his hip...it was dwarfed by his massive frame and link-armor. As Master CHUN and the others approached, he looked down, bowed his head and then knealt down...

Nazzar: I greet you masters...and company. I have no steed to accompany this day, and from what I heard outside the council chambers, I feel I won't be needing one. Our destination is a beast-vessel...(returns to his feet)...I am CHOORO, and I am here to see if the beast vessel...is really a beast. I will help where I can....the third law of Ulizra demands it.

Master CHUN: I knew your father from earlier days, tell me CHOORO, have you passed your trials?

CHOORO: (nods) I have Master CHUN, though I am unhappy with my results. I felt as if I had just barely succeeded...

Master CHUN: That's the way it is supposed to be, you did well, and I hear that your father is proud of your progress. Your father is lucky, not all fathers can be proud of their sons.

CHOORO: .....

Master O’TUUK: Have you had any insight as of yet? Time sometimes provides answers through the Force...

CHOORO: I'm afraid our distance is too great...I would like to speak to those who survived the encounter, and as we get closer to the scene...I will see if I can peer into the mind of the beast...if it is a creature.

Master O’TUUK: You doubt it is a creature?

CHOORO: I have not heard of such a creature...so large, so destructive...so angry...surely we would have heard from something as such by now...although, the galaxy...

Master O’TUUK: is a very large place...

CHOORO: I think we are almost ready...We're waiting for Xandor Malenth.

OOC: I've got to review the last draft that Jedi Skyler has submitted, and then we'll be moving along. If anyone has questions, now is the time to ask...also, the ship is a large one, if you have questions about the ship, you can ask too.

During the wait time for the ship to be prepared and after the Masters are done speaking, Atlis will turn to Myshalla and Darrin. He speaks in broken basic and very humbly, bowing to each of them and extending his hand to shake. "Good Morning, it is nice to meet you, I am Atlis." It is obvious that even these small words cause his trouble to put together coherently.
