“The Bissillirus Campaign”

I’m finally getting a chance to run this one (after owning both the 1st and 2nd edition versions)!

I added a back-story about some Alliance hot head accidently blowing up a hospital in an attempt to get the Empire to stop bombing a nearby planet. So now everybody on the planet hates the Rebellion.

I introduced the gangs (now swoop gang) in the first story so that things will seem more organic when the PC’s recruit them later on. (Actually one the PCs is already dating the Bethar character, who will be kidnapped later).

And the planet Bundim is being replaced with the planet Dressell. One of the PCs is a Dressellian, so she will have to deal with seeing her HOMEWORLD as a bombed out occupied mess (instead of it just being the planet of the week).

UPDATE:

Well I replaced the Bissillirus story "Going My Way" with "Riders of the Maelstrom."

I made major changes to "Riders" as well. The Moffs were replaced with Grand Moff Ravik [Tarkin's replacement] and Moff Gustuave [Moff of the Tapani Sector]. And they are working together on Project Blue Harvest.

Ravik is had a big project [the size of a small moon] that will need a lot of metals [from the Tapani Sector] and a lot of food [hence the construction of the Imperial Resupply Base which is central to the Bissillirus Campaign].

In the end the heroes capture Ravik [which explains why he's on that Rebel Prison Ship in "Otherspace"]. Gustave gets away [he'll show up again when the heroes go to the Tapani Sector to learn what Project Blue Harvest is all about].

The other major change is that I replaced the leader of the Pirates with Celis Mott. Again this so that when the heroes encounter him again in "Otherspace" they will remember that they were the ones who captured him.

So it turns out that "Riders" and the entire "Bissillirus" Campaign are all a set up for the mysterious Blue Harvest story line...
