Prob is, as someone who has had to get training on 'staying alert' you eventually get skittish at everything, OR wear out quicker than normal.. So IF i was to see search being that way, there WOULD be a time limit to it, and you either stop when you reach it, or start racking up stamina (willpower??) rolls or burn your self out (no searching period for X hrs)..
