| I thought I saw RAW rules somewhere for how much someone can be expected to pay for space travel - but it isnt in Tramp Freighters so I dont know where to look next :S |

1E rule book page 54 booking passage "typical ticket prices are listed on the cost chart (see page 141)."
Luxury liner 1000
"no frills" liner 500
Steerage 100
Chartered ship 10,000
I think it is also in th 1E source book.
2E page 115 booking passage is more ambiguous with no prices or types of travel.

This is what "steerage" most likely looks like.

The RCR from the d20 line went a different route:
Quality.......Cost/Day.....Cost/Journey*.....Example
Steerage.....50.....500.....Freighter hold
Poor.....100.....1,000.....Freighter bunk
Average.....200.....2,000.....Liner bunk
Good.....500.....5,000.....Private room
Luxurious.....750.....7,500.....Private Stateroom
