Rick Carver, a young fs-character member of a swoop gang and teached in the Force by an old woman (Dark jedi).
Of course main of the background came from the GM (especially the dark jedi). My main hidden goal in the campaign was to not fall in the dark side.
It was very funny to play in accordance with the background of the character and with my knowledge of the jedi code.
Imagine, 2 DSP, 4D in control 3D in Sens, a lot of offensive force powers and of course sens Force was missing

My favorite ship I've ever had came after we got planetary ion blasted and crashed in a planet side ship graveyard, it took us about a week to build a new ship from the random parts, we took the shell of an old Gozanti cruiser and the ship after it's successful takeoff was named "The Phoenix". Out of the ashes, a new ship made.

My friend Byron and I were playing with a friend-of-a-friend, who was new to the fold. The only thing I remember about that game (it didn't last long) was the he named his astromech droid R2-D6.

Having been GMs and players for years at that point, Byron and I just turned to each other and said, "how come we've never thought of that?!"

Sadly, my alien and human names tend to be rather blah -- I had a Jedi named Qui-Vive Lancier, which was probably as good as it got.

But droid names are were the fun is.

My Favorite and longest running name has been Erc Vortan. Found both names while searching for Celtic names way back when.

He's usually Found flying some ship named the Reaper's Fury.
He had a R5 Droid with him too,. R5-D0 Called him Deo.

Another fun one, based on a custom action figure was Jorus Shaftus. I used Mace Windu's Head on a Bespin Luke Figure. Added the Shaft beard and mustache to him. Worked out very nicely lol

A little late to chime in, hope you don't mind.

For some good NPC names in my current game I used a trick, inspired by Han Solo: use foreign language numbers as first and/or last names.

And so, my campaign features:
Duo Quatre - the adopted sister of the Jedi PC and currently fallen to the Dark Side;
Dix-Neuf Fett - the current head of the Mandalorian Fett clan, a grumpy old man but still very capable of kicking your butt, na archeologist by hobby;
A Mandalorian family (quite a bit of Mandos in our game since the other PC managed to get himself adopted ) of the Bralor clan, in which everyone except the mother (tradition from the father's side) has two names, the second being a (German) numeral:
Juno Vier Bralor - father, "The Mighty Midget" - 150cm tall, can bench-press a speeder;
Ray Funf Bralor - first son, dead;
C. Sechs Bralor - second son (16), heavy weapons specialist, his first name is Cherry - he hates it and prevents anyone finding out if he can;
Madoka Sieben Bralor - doughter, youngest (11), demolitions and explosives enthusiast;
