Clone trooper aging issue.

Much easier than you'd think.....

While on mission with BEFORE Order 66 the character was on an alien planet being mapped by the republic for possible colonization.

While there the group encountered an odd plant that smelled interesting the scientists...... the trooper removed his helmet to see as well only for the plant to clamp its fronds shut - blowing its pollen in his face and causing a coughing and sneezing fit.

Scans revealed nothing..... Yet days later the clone noticed the plant the scientists had taken for study had shed and regrown its fronds numerous times in mere days.

Before an answer could be found as to if he was subject to something - the squad was reassigned to its mission pending 66.

After all.... the clones were expendable and the republic scientists can now later be found dead on that planet - killed by the squad assigned to replace them.... who knows...... republic might have even sent a jedi to investigate this odd planets flora.....one who protected one of the scientists - whos living alone - half mad ... somewhere out in those jungles.... on a world forgotten by time.......
