This is a dumb question but do you have to use a force point to use force powers? I want to say no but I also want to make sure.

You do not have to spend a Force Point to use Force Powers.

The ONLY exception is the force power Transfer life which expressly says you must spend a force point to activate the power.

Reduce Injury also uses up a Force Point, but it's kind of sacrificed rather than spent.

Unless the description of the power specifically states you must spend a FP then no you do not.

There is an optional rule in the TOTJ Handbook that allows a Force User to use a power he hasn't learned if he spends a FP to do it.
