For adventures I've ran where PCs go to a cantina on Tatooine, I've had alcoholic beverages cost as low as 1 credit and a class of water cost 5-10 credits to represent water's value on Tatooine (when not buying in bulk).
I think that moisture vaporators would probably be cheaper than buying water in bulk - All you need is time to collect it.
This brought a question to my mind. Don't you think that desert planets would also use technology that purifies urine to recycle water?
