I'm posting this for all the incredible writers who bring us the amazing fan-made sourcebooks (and for Joseph McWhorter specifically).

Jocasta Nu, the Jedi Archivist that we see in Attack of the Clones, is fleshed out even further in the new Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith comic series.

She appears in a teaser at the end of Vol. 1 - Imperial Machine. I wouldn't say that you'll want to read that unless you just want to read a damn good story about Vader's first steps (it shows how he got his lightsaber).

The book that expands on Jocasta's fate is the second book, Vol. 2 - Legacy's End.

If you want to wait, those books will be collected into a hardback to be published this October: HARDBACK.

And this in the Tools Section because...

I thought that obvious. This is the section that is supposed to have the fanbooks.

From the forum description...

I.e. he's hoping it will help stir the interest for a fan sourcebook. It's not a bad idea to request for creative talent if you're hoping to lead a fanproject.

But by that standard, pretty much everything in the General Star Wars should be moved over to Tools, so long as it’s prefaced with “this is for sourcebook writing reference.”

Note quite. GG 15 - Attack of the Clones features Jocasta Nu. I was suggesting that the author read the comic and update the character in GG 15.

I guess I wasn't clear enough.

So the galaxy guide should have a revision published because you read a comic about a very minor character in it. I don't agree, but whatever. I have a more important response.

The revised edition of the Attack of the Clones GG came out over 6 years ago, and the author you were attempting to communicate with hasn't posted here in over 3 years. Something like this should not be its own thread. You could have posted a reply in the stickied fanmade sourcebooks thread, or tried PMing this to the author. If users have the preference option of getting an email when they receive a PM, the author may get the message. (Last month I PMed someone who hasn't posted in years and he logged on to reply to my post, so it is sometimes possible to reach someone in that situation.)

Please reread the forum posting guidelines, and please be more judicious when deciding whether something should be a new thread, a thread reply post, or a PM. Thank you.

Which is why I said, ".. if you're hoping to lead a fan project."
