Pressure from the kids, huh .
Well no Xbox 360 or Rock Band 2 here, but certainly game on for me. Five PSP games including three SW ones. Right now I've got to say my favorite has been The Force Unleashed. Going head to head with Palpatine onboard the unfinished Death Star is, in my humble opinion, pretty cool. Now I just wish I hadn't restarted the game cause it looks like I'm back to square one on Force powers in the historic battles, Order 66, and Force duels. And it really sucks cause I was looking forward to using Malestorm in Order 66. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

You betcha, pressure from the kids. However, they DO owe me for it being a 360, cuz my wife was leaning toward the Wii. Now, that would be GREAT to play The Force unleashed on, with all the lightsaber action and so forth...but I know there are levels for that game on 360 that aren't found on the other consoles, so I'm happy. I'm thinking seriously about picking up TFU here REAL soon.
Up til now I've been having mass fun playing Rock Band 2, slinging serious lead in Army of Two, and zipping through Manhattan in Spider Man 3. |

Well I'm not sure every console has a level or two that aren't found on othe consoles. I've read that the PS3 and 360 are pretty much the same game. Same levels and such. The PS2, Wii, and PSP versions are different from the PS3 and 360 versions and are supposed to have some levels not on these two. According the LucasArts offical site for the game these three each have five levels not featured on the PS3 or the 360. They give the same exact info for the PS3 and the 360, but there's at least one or two differences between systems on the Wii, PS2 and the PSP
Personally it might not really matter what system you get as long as you get to experince the game. I'm not ashamed to admit that when I first heard of the game I was a little disgusted because you were going to be playing a dark side character in it (I don't mind doing so in other games like the Battlefront series or the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series where I've got the choice either from the very beginning or you can choose your path midway through the game). It was just the thought of "Now you get to revel in the dark side." But then they had the vid of Starkiller pulling down the Star Destroyer and was was like "Holy *******, maybe I'll get the game just to check it out."
Let me tell you, it has REALLY changed my opinion from what it was when I first head about it. I haven't felt this excited about a Star Wars game since I tried the demo to Republic Commando which lead to me getting that game. Not entirely certain I'd call Starkiller either a true dark sider or a light sider until the very end of the game. Then it becomes like both Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. So it's almost like a prequel to that particular series yet has nothing to do with it beyond being set in the Star Wars universe.
And you've really gotta combine the lightsaber action with the using Force powers when you talk about this game far more, in my opnion, than you did in the Dark Force/Jedi Knight series. I mean there's literaly some Force powers that reequire the use of a lightsaber to actually pull of properly. Like leaping into the air then when you come down slam your lightsaber into the ground to send out a shockwave. Or grabbing an enemy and lifting them into the air through the Force then using the Force to throw your lightsaber at them so it skewers them. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

You can download a few of the missing levels from the PS2 version as downloadable content on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. In the Ps2 version the most glaring error is that Starkiller is holding his lightsaber the wrong way.
The Wii version is about the same as the 360 and the PS3 version, but it has a multiplayer mode.
I forget whats in the PSP version.
The DS version is also completely different and uses the stylus for a bunch of things. |

Yeah, I've been a bit distracted by Tribal Wars, but since Tribal Wars is such a slow game I've been lurking around the forum every few days to see if things picked back up again, so its not much of a distraction. |
