I hated that Dookan translation. It's really sad that the public is indeed so stupid that it can't hear of a Sith Lord named Dooku without giggling....

Why would Dooku be funny in Brazil? (Is that a Brazilian word for something?)

Well, if you mis-pronounce it at change the stress, then it might sound like you're saying something that translates to "of the a$$-hole".

Oh, well, it's just our luck...

Panaka means "stupid"
Amidala is very similar to "tonsils"
Fode (from Fode & Beed, the podrace announcers) means "f**k"
Naboo is very similar to a vegetable which I don't know the translation.

Talking about really old characters, which race was Odan-Urr the one who discovered the sith holocron after the great hyperspace wars?
