(TyCaine you left out Regiment)

Never bothered with divisions as the only time "Division" ever came up with stormtroop ...

Don't you mean if you don't alter your gravity to a higher setting? The default gravity in space (and hyperspace) is zero gravity.

With being able to be strapped to your seat, I don't see any rea ...

ok, maybe not THAT much, but likely more comfy
Not likely.
No car in existance can alter the gravity of its interior like the fighters of star wars can.

The A-wing might be able to place one in it's cargo compartment if the GM allowed it.
The Y-wing Longprobe replaced the rear gunner seat with both a full nav computer AND a X6 backup hyperdrive.

A Pc with a starfighter can cause various issues for the GM, not only are preprogrammed hyperdrive coordinates an issue, but the limited consumables will be one as well.
A docking port (not bay) can ...

IIRC, the adventure StarFall (Classic Adventures Vol. 5) also had a damaged part of the ship with the danger of radiation to avoid, and damage dice for it if a PC didn't avoid it.
Nope, an engine fir ...

Have you considered having the player dependant on others to repair the droid shell or do some of the more advanced upgrades, unless the Shard has another droid body to use to do it them self.

If t ...

Every single one of them is from a WEG SW book.

Particle cannons do not and never have formed a solid slug.

Pulse wave are nothing like Blasters or lasers, they fire spatial disruptions.
