I believe that one of the reasons Jamfke provided the dice rolling program he linked is due to that programs ability to automatically email the results to him and anyone else that is listed in the email field. I do not believe the Wizards of the coast dice rolling program has that ability.
And if I am incorrect in my assumption Jamfke please let me know. |
This is the actual reason as to why I'd like to use this roller. But again, If I roll the dice for everyone, it'd be much quicker, and...who knows, I might go a bit lenient on you if things get too harry! |

I have no preference either way about the die rolls. if you feel it is quicker and easier for you to roll then that is alright by me _________________ "Dig it. Who's the man? I'm the man. I'm a bad man. How bad? Real bad. I'm a 12.0 on the 10.0 scale of badness." The Evil Midnight Bomber

I'd prefer it if you rolled for me
Hellcat, If you want I could have brought you. Your droid would be a font of knowledge that would interest my Tarro. _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

Works. I just figure it would be better to have the droid be owned by someone than have him running around free. And it would also explain even better why he's with the group. Would also give his secondary personality someone to guard. If they know the secret phrases. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Yes you do got a point Jamfke...You can roll my dice. I don't really care if you do or not. I just figured you let me use my dice roller, but goahead and roll my dice. _________________ Morpheus Grifullkin

I agree, roll my dice as well.
And I think that to make things easier, it makes sense that it was Qassar's Ghtroc 720 freighter the ship my mechanic got a job in, do you agree? |

Well our personalities fit. I probably would forget you're on the ship with both of them being a little anti social. I have no problems with you on the ship, and I won't mess with the lighting in your work station. _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

It's a deal then, just keep me fed and supplied, and I'll keep your ship on the air. But if you accidentally turn on all the lights on the repair bay all of a sudden, I'll smack your kneecap with my hidrospanner.
Jokes aside, the ship needs a name, it's bad luck otherwise. |

Excellent! You guys are synching perfectly! I have everyone's characters and I'm ready to begin. I'll be posting the In Character thread shortly.
Dare I say it?
Game ON! |

HUZZA!
But do we really have all the characters ready? Let me see:
Qassar Kimotot - Tarro smuggler
Kabakh - Modified servant droid
Toba Fen - Utai mechanic
Cyn Neofelis - Farghul saber rake
It seems Morpheus Grifullkin hasn't submitted his mercenary yet and we never heard another word from jmanski.
But I guess we already have the crew of the yet-to-be-named freighter, plus the saber rake, so maybe we could get things going with them... |

I've got morpheus' character thru PM, and jmanski is either sending his via PM or posting it here tonight.
Either way, here it comes! |

Cool. It's on. Ohhh.. it's ON!
I foresee a lot of friction between these characters. I mean, on one side we have a servant droid that likes to teach people manners and a noble and refined farghul saber rake, on the other we have an anti-social tarro smuggler and a gloomy and coarse utai mechanic.
But before we begin, isn't it better if you explain a little better how this is going to work, lay down the rules? Like, how much freedom we have to create the situations, how long should we wait for the other participants input before moving on with a scene, etc.
Maybe we should set a type pattern for actions and speech, for exemple:
Toba comes out of the engine bay, rubbing his dirty hands on his even dirtier coveralls.
"Well, that's that. We are all gonna die here. It's already taken too long, if you ask me. ...which you won't."
Toba draws his hidrospanner and smacks Mr. Neofelis on the right kneecap. |
