The reason it needs to be per rounnd rather than per attack is because the bonus applies to your parry roll for the round.
DougRed, have you been able to try out the rules? How are they working for you? |

We tested them a bit. I liked some parts of it, but when I put it all into offense it was as if someone had spent a Force point. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Well the damage remains unchanged because I personally believe that the first hit from a lightsaber should end a fight. If want more of a club bashing effect, try allowing only half of control being added to damage. So a Jedi with 2D in control would deal 6D damage, 10D in control would deal 10D damage (instead of 15D) etc. |

Yeah, I'd tried halving Force skills with some of the house rules I was coming up with.
It wasn't damage that was a "problem", from what I saw, though. It was getting a roll to hit of 80+.
Personally, I'm looking for a system that won't cause a death with a single hit. I want what we saw in the movies, where Luke hits Vader in the arm and he cries out (like in Empire), but only is wounded, not (necessarily) losing his limb from that single strike. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

I'd imagine the armor had something to do with that...I know everyone makes references to plasteel armor, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't cortosis weaved in there... |
