Does his sword lock though prevent the opponent from trying to melee parry though? Or does it limit him to only brawl parry? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

No paries allowed in this situation. The melee parry or the melee attack was "just barely" successful and both combatants are trying to take advantage of the split second to tip the balance.
In the case of this add-on, the defender is trying to create an opportunity to break the attacker's momentum. There is some risk involved, however, since the attacker could spend a CP after the roll was made to essentially defeat the attempt by the defender to initiate sword lock. |
