Designed to operate in the void of space alongside organic asteroid miners, but also to be able to fill in for specialized rolls, Tianni Mining Corporation soon realized the use of it's skillset matrices, and began to sell the droids to the public. Beyond Tianni's home sector, though, the droids are practically unknown.

The first fourth-degree droid designed by Tianni Corp, this droid is used to provide internal security for Tianni Corp facilities, and often work alongside labor droids to keep the working environment clear of debris. Quinn Tianni, CEO, worked out a deal with Imperial Droid Statutes committees, that Tianni Corp's subsidiary could manufacture the unit for their own use for security, as long as they never left the system. It is rumored that other variants exist, including one that trades in the power canister and blaster carbine for dual flame projectors.

This droid line is a secret to all but its Verpine and Colicoid designers, an elite chassis designed for the personal use of Quinn Tianni. He employs these as private security and to protect his corporate interests. While it looks ramshackle, with the security droid's chassis being modified to replace the right arm with a large blaster cannon, it uses it with deadly accuracy. Ideally suited to urban combat, the Devastator Commando utilizes technology prototyped from an ancient droid discovered by Tianni.
