is there a way to prevent the board for auto-marking threads as read if I visit the site? Sometimes I'll get on from my phone, view a couple of posts, but not get to everything before I need to quit. Next time I log in, the posts I DIDNT get to are marked as read, and I have to hunt them down.

As much as I wish there was a feature that allowed you to mark posts as read or unread, I am not aware of any such function.

Yeah, I think we've all had this issue before. I try to only visit this site when I have the time to read through all of the threads that are new. Otherwise it's tough to go find them.
