There is a game coming out this summer called Dreadnought, and I'm pretty excited about it. Put simply, it is a sci-fi flight simulator game for capital ships. Details are still somewhat scarce, as the game won't be released until this summer, but there are a couple ship types that use concepts I had never considered. So, just because I can, I'm going to do some ship stats that make use of those concepts (if not exactly the same methods). Enjoy.

Craft: Sienar Fleet Systems' Targeter-Class
Type: Prototype Stand-Off Attack Cruiser

Shields: 3D (Can also be used in Stealth mode, which adds 3D to Sensors Difficulty to Detect or Identify the ship. Can not be used in both modes simultaneously)
Sensors:
Passive 30/1D
Scan 75/2D
Search 150/3D (350/3D in Front Arc only)
Focus 5/4D
Weapons:
10 Dual Turbolaser Cannon (Fire Separately)

--Space: 1-3/12/25
--Orbital: 2km-6km/24km/50km
--Atmosphere: 100m-300m/1.2km/2.5km
Damage: 6D
1 Tachyon Lance
Fire Arc: Front
Crew: 20
Skill: Capital Ship Gunnery
Fire Control: 2D
Range:
--Space: 20-50/150/300
--Atmosphere: 80km-100km/300km/600km
Rate of Fire: 1
Damage: 4D-10D
Ammo: Has enough power for 20D of damage
Recharge Rate: 1D per 15 minutes (1 pip per 5 minutes)
Note: While recharging, the Targeter is reduced to Space 2 and Maneuverability 0D.
Small Craft Complement: Assorted shuttles.
Capsule:
Based on a heavily modified Vindicator Heavy Cruiser hull, the Targeter-Class Stand-Off Attack Cruiser is essentially a sniper in space. Equipped with an axial mounted tachyon lance, the ship far outranges any other known type of energy weapon system. Combined with long range scanners and targeting arrays, the Targeter is designed to inflict devastating attacks from outside of a target's sensor range. In addition, the Targeter is equipped with dual-mode shields which can be used to protect the ship from enemy sensors. Due to the power constraints of the lance, the Targeter only has enough energy for a few shots. As such, the Targeter will make a quick attack with a handful of shots, then use its stealth to shift position to evade counter attack. Once in its new position, the Targeter will sit quietly and recharge the tachyon lance, then repeat the fire-and-evade sequence as needed.

Design Note: This ship is modeled after the Dreadnought game's Artillery Cruiser, which is equipped with a powerful bow mounted rail cannon to hit at extremely long ranges.

Nice concept. Is this a ROE, Rebellion or NR time frame vessel?

My default thinking for ship stats is usually classic era, during the original trilogy. As such, this ship would be a Seinar Fleet Systems prototype roughly around the time of Hoth.

As to what its actual back story is, I deliberately left it vague so a GM who likes the idea can make it how he wants, whether the ship is a single, experimental type or a limited production run.

That looks like a cool game. Is it gonna be a console game? Or just PC?

No clue. The only mention I can find of an OS is on the Wikipedia page for the game, and it specifies Windows.
