I'd add "RCR" for Revised Core Rulebook

Does this refers to the WotC 2e game?

Verily.

We'd used it so many times concerning earlier conversions, I'd just assumed it had been in the bank of initialisms already.

A few others.

TPC - total party capture
TPW/TPK - total party wipe out/total party kill.

OT - original trilogy (Star Wars Episodes IV-VI)

I also see:

CT - Classic Trilogy
TCW - The Clone Wars (animated film, TV series and spin-offs)

And maybe I'm the only one who does it, but I also tend to use lower case letters for the less important words that don't need capitalized in a title, such as in AotC, RotS and RotJ.

Oh, I see TCW all the time, and I'd just never added it.

I'm actually kind of interested to see how these abbreviations of trilogy language will evolve. That is to say, I wonder how people will eventually refer to the new films. sequel trilogy? new trilogy? disney trilogy?

I guess there's only one way to find out...

... wait a decade.

My vote will be Sequel Trilogy, but I think we're a ways off from abbreviating it "ST".

However, speaking of which, we are already using TFA for The Force Awakens and that should definitely be added.

Shouldn't we be adding TLJ - The Last Jedi to this list? Mr. Green

It's going on once it hits wide usage. So, probably any day now. Smile

And here I was, thinking that we'd have to wait for the better part of a year before it came into really wide usage. Laughing

Gawds, it's gonna be a long 11 months! Then again, we'll have Rogue One on DVD and Blu-Ray sometime in April hopefully, so that will make the wait easier. 8)

Kids. Gah. Kids. Back in my day, we had to wait three years for a Star Wars sequel. And we didn't have the luxury of home video, or internet, or a SW RPG. But we could read our storybooks and listen the soundtrack records as much as we wanted.

I agree.. people these days do just seem too impatient.

Hey, wait a minute. I'm old enough to remember seeing ANH in the theatre back in '77 before it was known as "Episode IV." Y'know, before Star Wars was cool. Wink (Granted, I was only 5 years old at the time, but seeing that humongous Star Destroyer fill the screen made an impression that lasts to this day.) I'm just as much an old fogie as anyone else on this forum. Shocked

But, yes, Whill, I am impatient sometimes. It's a character flaw of mine, I'm afraid. Embarassed Wink

Oh, and garhkal? Kudos on quoting the Failed Jedi. That was a nice touch. Mr. Green
