I know this is off-topic, but you guys are my peers, so I felt I would share what's going on. I haven't been replying lately because there is a pretty horrific situation going on in my hometown right now. A wonderful young woman named Sherri Papini (who is a family friend) went missing on Wednesday afternoon. The circumstances of her disappearance are highly suspicious, especially seeing as how she is a mother of two with a devoted husband. Local law enforcement has been particularly uninformative; if they have any information, they aren't releasing it to the public.

Every time I try to sit down and write something up on one of the current topics, I just don't have the mental energy to do anything.

If any of you are of the praying bent, your prayers would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Sorry to hear that. Hope everything works out.

I am a stranger to everyone involved, but you have my prayers and sympathies regardless.

What a scary and jolting thing to happen!

I'm not much on praying, but I am sending hopeful vibes to you and your entire community.

If you ever need to talk to someone external to your current cadre of friends/relatives/neighbors, let me know.

Thanksgiving Miracle! Sherri Papini found alive and safe three weeks and a day after being abducted. No details as of yet, but the most important detail is that she's alive.

I was very happy to see this update; praise the Lord that she is safe now. May any further updates be equally happy!
