I originally posted this here, but I don't want to co-opt Whill's topic, so...

The RAW for Stun Damage is broken, and there have been multiple attempts to fix it. Here's my thought:
    1). Throw out the "treat any result more serious than Stunned as Unconscious for 2D minutes."

    2). Roll Stun Damage against the target's Strength, then compare the result to the following table:
      Stun Damage > Strength / Stamina Roll = Effect
      0-3 = 1 Stun
      4-8 = 2 Stuns
      9-12 = 3 Stuns
      13-16 = 4 Stuns
      17+ = +1 additional Stun for every 4 points of Damage


    3). 1 Stun = -1D to Strength. If a character is reduced to 0D Strength, he is knocked Unconscious for 2D minutes.
