Is it no longer possible for us to split the difference? _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

i don't think the community will be harmed if we're divided on this issue. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

I'm a bit surprised how amiable this split has been. Maybe we should give a stab at doing this in the future? _________________ "I've Seen Your Daily Routine. You Are Not Busy!"

The sudden divide did come as a shock, but perhaps we can piece it together in the future. _________________ Aha! |

Guys, just a friendly moderator warning. Keep it together here, or I'll have to split the thread.

Oof, groan and guffaw! You guys are a real bunch of cut-ups.
I'm practically doubled over from all the side-splitting wit.
(I know, I know, not great. All the good puns were taken!)
On-topic tho! Snoke does faciliate the long-distance Force "Face Time" between Rey and Kylo, which is stated onscreen to be quite difficult, so he'd at least have high-enough Force skills to create that bridging effect, more so than he would have lightsaber at 6D, imho. |

Yes I agree with this, he should have all three force skills at least at 7-8D minimum to even be able to facilitate being a face time server, and with such a large galaxy I would easy add another +2D maybe even +4D to the skills if not for that alone.
As for his lightsaber skill, I assume he is capable and knows enough to teach ylo a thing or two, but with his injuries I doubt he will be that good any more.
I gace a 6D this becuse it is within the realistic realm of someone good, but no true master of the weapon.
Again his focus seems to be manipulation more than direct combat. |

Hmm, OK. I can see that. Definitely agreed that his focus and strengths are as a puppet-master and manipulator, rather than as a direct combatant, but I can buy that explanation as justified extrapolation here.

How many people are actually RPing in the TFA/TLJ era? Considering how much more information is available to flesh out the universe of the OT, I'd think it'd be more useful to stat out the Snoke who may have existed around the time of RotJ, and just use him as some shadowy villain. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. You guys are cutting away from the topic.
Ah damn. I didn't realize there was a second page to this topic and spoke too soon.
I guess I didn't see that coming. |

I'm out of puns for now, but one thing did occur to me: Who runs an empire wearing a golden bathrobe and slippers? Snoke was like Leisure Suit Larry's gnarled old grandpa. I was waiting for him to either hit on Rey or yell at Kylo to get off his lawn.
