I really hope a full album comes out. I am kind of a completionist about my Star Wars Scores.

Actually, each week they are releasing original score albums for each episode which they are calling chapters. They are 7-9 tracks each. That's where these YouTube videos came from.

I'll have to check and see if they're available on Amazon Music.

Thanks, Raven. At the time of my post yesterday morning, they didn't have Chapter 3 there yet but it is there now. Below is the Amazon link corresponding to the Amazon Music link you shared for Chapter 1, and here, if you scroll down to the Customers who bought this item also bought section, you will see links to Chapters 2 and 3. The Mandalorian composer is the one who scored the Black Panther movie.

https://www.amazon.com/Mandalorian-Chapter-Original-Score/dp/B08144YBHL/

I haven't bought any yet because I am just holding off until the season is done and then deciding if I just want select tracks from them or want to get them all. In the mean time, I can listen to them on YouTube.

The Chapter Albums are available for "free" if you have Amazon Music Unlimited or whatever they call it.

I downloaded the 3 chapters and listened to them in the car today. Only a couple of tracks I didn't super care for, but overall I think the music is good.

Sweet. I haven't listened to Chapter 3 yet.

Air quotes "free", yeah. Apple Music has them too. Amazon Music Unlimited is like Apple Music and other subscription services where you don't own the music. It has DRM protection and "free" means you pay to rent it with free access to listen to it as long as your subscription is active.

I know this seems "grognard" but I really hate this business model. What about the over 10,000 songs that I have already purchased and own? If I pay to subscribe to one of these music services, then I am paying to access a lot of music that duplicates what I already own, and when my subscription is cancelled I do not own any of the new music I had paid to to only rent. Plus I doubt everything I would want would be available on the service, so I would still have to purchase some music. Call me wacky but I like to own my music (and legally). I'm a left over from the era where renting music was not an option. Sure, some of my music is digital-only, but I still own it.

YouTube provides actual free access to listen to the music without buying or renting it - The only way you "pay" for it is by short ads, and having internet access which you need for a lot other stuff including those music services.

I prefer to own my music as well, but with all members of my family liking different things, it would cost us a hell of a lot more than the subscription costs for everyone to hear what they want to when they want to.

We have the Amazon Music Unlimited Family plan. I think it's $16 a month after tax, but we can play and download on up to 5 or 6 devices.

I was a bit spoiled on TPM by buying the OST before seeing the film and reading the track title "Qui-Gon's Nobel End".

I checked on the archive page. It is good that it doesn't have track titles. If there had been I would have deleted this post. I succeeded in my willpower roll not to listen to any. Knowing most of the motifs, listening to the music could have plot spoilers for me. The mere fact that it was posted then removed makes it extremely likely this would be the case. Obviously someone who doesn't understand that film scoring contains character and situation content posted this thinking it wouldn't be spoilers, and then someone who does understand had it pulled. I hope that guy who ooped gets schooled.

RANCOR PIT COMMUNITY, BEFORE LISTENING TO THE SCORE PLEASE CONSIDER:

(1) Listening to the music could contain spoilers if it evokes certain moods, you recognize motifs, or it reminds you of other parts of past films. I strongly suggest you do not listen to it.
(2) If you do listen to it, do NOT post that you did or describe it in even the slightest way anywhere on this forum except the spoilers allowed thread when that is posted, until the spoiler observance period is over.

Thank you.

While I've been working from home, I've been listening to a fair bit of the Mandalorian soundtrack. I have to say, most of it is fairly chill with an underlying beat that makes it easy to for me to make a motivating playlist.

I listened to the scores for the first five episodes and enjoyed them, but I haven't bought them yet. I'll have to listen to the last three episodes sometime.

I haven't been paying too much attention to this thread, so if this has already been posted, I apologize in advance.

Just stumbled across this today; it's an hour-long mix of Star Wars Soundtrack selections called Star Wars Ambient Soundtrack Mix. Enjoy.

Another ambience music video, with a Sith theme this time, 53:18 long.

I've listened to the first ambient mix you shared several times. It's good background music.

And below is the entire soundtrack album for the Star Wars: Squadrons video game. On it's own, it's decent.
