|The Simpsons was what tipped the scale for me. That's a show I can put on in the background while gaming or writing and not get distracted by it, but still enjoy the humor. At least the first ten seasons or so. |
Oddly enough, Season Ten is roughly where I stopped watching The Simpsons.... How many seaons of The Simpsons are we at today? I lost count, is it like 28 seasons by now or something?
The Simpsons is currently in its 31st season. I haven't watched it yet on Disney+, but D+ reportedly has 30 seasons, everything but the current one.
I also stopped watching the show after the 10th season. I feel that Seasons 3 and 4 were the best, but 5 - 8 were still great. 9 and 10 were ok. The movie was pretty good. I've caught a smattering of episodes over the last 20 years, mostly to my overall disappointment. I came to the conclusion that they put their funniest jokes into the first few minutes of the episodes.
