It took me quite a bit of thinking to get this to work the way I wanted it to and still, I feel as though it could be better. Suggestions and insight from others would be greatly appreciated.

Quote:
Trident-class Assault Ship
Also known as the Trident assault ship, Trident drill assault craft, or simply drill assault craft, was a type of assault ship manufactured by Colicoid Creation Nest. They had four durasteel-armored tentacles equipped with magnetic grapples that served both as weapons and as a means of mobility, as well as a rhombus pyramid-style head that featured two primary observation portals and eight secondary ones.

At the base of the head and between the tentacles at the center of the vessel was a drill spike used to penetrate the hulls of battleships and other vessels and structures, and could open up to deploy battle droids, such as aqua droids, from deployment racks. The drill-spike could be swapped out for a powerful engine for long-distance and space travel. It measured at 88.71 meters and was equipped with eight laser cannons. There were two variants of the Trident-class, a smaller variant and a larger variant.

Its observation portals could be breached by blaster spears, and despite being equipped with deflector shields, they could be destroyed by a single hit from a missile launcher. The interior of the vessel could be adapted to become submerged, although if not adapted, a breach of the observation portals could haywire systems, resulting in interior explosions that could send the vessel out of control.

Trident-class Assault Ship
Craft: Colicoid Creation Nest Trident-class Assault Ship

Cost: Not available for sale
Maneuverability: 1D (underwater); +2 (on land)
Move: 28; 85 kmh (underwater), 21; 60 kmh (on land)
Body Strength: 3D+2

8 Laser Cannons

-- Skill: Vehicle blasters
-- Fire Control: 2D
-- Range: 10-100/500/800
-- Damage: 4D
Game Notes: At the base of the head and between the tentacles at the center of the vessel is a drill spike used to penetrate other vehicles and structures. This is an Easy walker operations skill check and does 7D puncturing damage. The four dura-armored tentacles magnetically adhere to ferrous material and can strike at buildings, vehicles and individuals doing STR+1D damage. The ship has a design flaw, its observation portals are only speeder scale and can be targeted by adding +5 to the range difficulty.

Surprised the Trident ship! Not many D6 versions of this cool ship out there in netland.

Looks good statwise and great choice of images again Very Happy

Did you look at the D6 stats for the Separatist boarding ship that is in one of the Fan Books (Droch Boarding ship?) as the drill part on
the Trident is the same as the Boarding ship one.

Thanks. I feel images are important as they need to encompass not only clearly what it is, but it has to give insight and perspective.
