I did get my first covid shot Saturday. I experienced minor side effects day-of: a head ache and body aches the rest of the day, and a tiredness that suddenly hit me in the early evening despite getting a good night's sleep the night before.

Just got my first covid vaccine shot on Friday, 2 days ago. No side effects other than my arm is still sore. It should be fine in another day or two.

My second shot is in late April. I'm soooo eager to get it over with. Even after the second shot, I'll still be wearing my mask for the foreseeable future of course, if only to put everyone else around me at ease while they wait to get their shots.

I don't think that's too uncommon a side effect Whill, I know some people where I am that had the same. Glad you got the first dose though.

Wearing one of those stupid masks to put others at ease is kind of a noble thing to do Sutehp. Bravo Smile

My first was Friday, too. If I had side effects, I didn't notice, since my father-in-law told me, as I waited in line, that my brother-in-law was in the ICU again, after his battle with Covid turned into sepsis.

I did get my second shot on schedule. It actually wasn't any worse than the first for me. Sore arm, minor head ache, minor body aches, and a little blah feeling, but not too bad.

It's funny that you should mention that. I just talked to a neighbor in my apartment building who got her second shot a couple of weeks ago and said she was sick in bed after her second shot that she stayed home for two or three days. Then again, reactions to the second shot vary between that and just mild symptoms like you had, Whill.

My second shot is on Friday so I'm hoping I just get the mild symptoms after that. I guess we'll see.

Well the vaccine symptoms are a sign of an immunity response. That doesn't mean you don't build immunity if you have no symptoms. It just means that you have a sign that you are if you do.

Had to suffer through a second Covid Test (which was Negative) after a simple cold, then got my first shot. Still recovering from the shot, this stuff is nasty!
